The DE-10 Pistol barrels. We think they might have stats that are invisible, but we don't know. We think the yellow named might be better than the white, but we don't know. When these were on Test Center, Keldarin stated that them not having stats was a bug. What we'd like is for there to be stats (if there aren't already), and to have them display in the examine window.

On 06-01-04, you replied to this issue in the Pipeline thread (back when we only had one communication thread). You said: "Im not sure, but I passedthe info you gave me on to the team..."

Any progress on hearing back from them?

About the 2nd paragraph, correspondents have a few options for where to put requests for information, and they all have different characteristics. A long time ago, we had a Pipeline thread where you could get simple answers really fast. Now that's been divided into a Pipeline (hot issues that don't get quoted here in the public forums until they get a little more developed) and Quotables (less burning issues that Thunderheart has no problem with us bringing directly back to you guys right away). This went into the Quotables thread. So that's what that bit isabout.

Communication has been a little slow these days, what with the Combat Balance preparation andJTL betagoing on behind the curtain. I wouldn't get any expectations about a quick reply, but the wheels are in motion. Waiting about this long before re-submitting requests is pretty standard procedure. We have 38, maybe 39 correspondents (I always forget which) and things would get pretty crazy if we all reminded them of minor issues too frequently, so they discourage that. It sucks, but it keeps the machine well-oiled for when important things do crop up.

Good to hear, I have a WS alt and i know these barrels (atleast the yellow ones) have hidden stats.

hopefully jtl and the combat balance will come in smoothly sothe devscan fix up the loose ends....

i would rather all the important issueswere fixed or few and far between so the devs spent all their time fixing up those loose ends

ill finally compile the data i got from that survey i ran on the WS forums way back when i first brought this up.

give me about 1 night. Also in my own experience, its pretty much proven. (got a ws alt now.)

since some time has ffinally passed and these are pretty widespread now, im going to necro the survey later today to get some more data so we can have a larger sample pool. I didnt compile the existing data from the servy because there just simply werent enough responses for it to be worthwhile data.

im gonna go dig up a link to taht thread and puta clicky in here in a minute, hold on a minute.

my survey on the WS boards to try to get conclusive evidence on this subject back when the bunker first went live and i noticed a discrepency

Ive seen no official word, but as a former weaponsmith I can tell you the yellow barrels most definitely have some stats...just makes them worth more

but fortunately since the stats are hidden they arent worth Millions more... If they stats were actually shown then they would be like krayt tissues...some cheap (relatively) and some going for millions upon millions...I like the luck factor for these...

As an owner of three schems and three yellow barrels, I don't. I can't sell 'em, because for all I know I could be selling the best one. But I'm not returning to Master Pistoleer until post-combat revamp either...

Oh well. At least I'll be able to choose which one I like best once I'm back to M-Pistoleer

The other ones can turn into show off guns.
