I started Pistoleer and i was surprised to notice that HealthShot 1 actually shots much often and does the same damage as HealthShot2.

Im not sure about Bodyshot3 either. It seems to be much worse than bodyshot2.

Is there any solution to how to use them, maybe im doing something wrong?

Get your weapon stats and pistol speed and check it out here... Healthshot 2 is often one of our best shots.

Yes, what Maxx said. I very rarely if ever use BS3, because it seems to me that it does about the same damage as BS2 but costs more HAM, not a reall issue when buffedbut true all the same. Health Shot 2 seems to bethe shot of choicebecause of the targeted pool+bleed, good dmg modifier and with a Mod Rep blaster you can stack another bleed in there as well. I use HS1 not as a viable shot but as a bleed stacker. Just my 2 cents.

Stacking Health Shot 1 and 2 and then spamming HS 2 was my most useful attack until I got stopping shot.

techincally for most of my weapons, Fanshot does the most "damage" per se...but only half the attacks you make (on average) go towards health...by firing healthshot2 all of your damage goes to the health bar and therefore makes a much higher impact overall and often will kill the target faster.

I actually wrote my above post before I read yours, Ren (mine apparently ended up below yours when I edited it to fix the hyperlink), or I would haveadded that I completely agree with you. I didn't get this specific in my earlier post, but one of the times that I do like to use Stopping Shot is when I see that my target's Action pool is getting low for whatever reason (e.g., if there are other group members who are attacking Action). If I see thatthe target'sMind is dropping for any reason (e.g., if there's a Rifleman in the group, as you said), I switch to Eye Shot--although Stopping Shot (or else Fan Shot) would probably be the next-best choice for a non-Desperado Pistoleer in the latter situation.

I also greatly prefer Fan Shotinstead ofHealth Shot when attacking a mob, because as LordMaxx alluded, it causes far more total damage per unit time than cycling through targets with Health Shot 2. I must qualify that statement though... If I am using Fan Shot on a tough mob with high individual HAMs (things that take more than a few shots to kill), I am not sure that spamming exclusively Fan Shot is necessarily the fastest way to take them down. What I do in that case is hit each one with bleeds first, and then start spamming Fan Shot. If the targets are sufficiently weak that they will be dead before the bleeds weaken them much, then I don't bother with the bleeds and go straight for Fan Shot.

When hunting in a group, I always tell my groupmates that if they don't have Health-specific attacks, use their *Hit attacks (OneHandedHit1-3, TwoHandedHit1-3, PolearmHit1-3, UnarmedHit1-3). Those attacks hit Health more often than not, so if you have mostly pistoleers or fencers, best to use your weaker BodyHit/Shot attacks and concentrate all your hits on one target than spread them out. You'll actually end up bringing your targets down faster.

Only time I would use Fan- or StoppingShot in a group setting is if the majority of my group were Riflemen and/or Swordsmen, or Carbineers and/or Pikemen. Then I'd tell them to use their Leg- or HeadHits/Shots, while Iused Fan- or StoppingShot.

Unless (lol, annoyed yet?) I had Eye_Shot, and was in a group with mostly Riflemen/Swordsmen... Then I'd use MindShot.

After I got Stopping Shot, I still found Health Shot 2 to be my most useful attack. Even with the nice Bounty Hunter pistols specials that I later picked up, I still find myself spamming HS 2 more than any other special (although the other bleeds are still very useful for bleed stacking). LordMaxx and I are in complete agreement on this, as we discussed earlier in this thread. In my opinion, an attack that specifically targets a particular pool is more useful (except in certain specific situations--Fan Shot on a mob being anoteworthy exception) than a somewhat more powerful attack that randomly hits various pools. Think of it this way, which would kill a RLenemy combatant faster and more reliably, whackinghim repeatedly with a very powerful striking weapon randomly all over his body, or a single low-cailber gunshot wound to the heart? I agree that wiith Stopping Shot, if you get lucky and have two or three shots in a row hit the same pool, the target is going to be seriously hurting. Personanlly I prefer to deal my damage in a more focused attack.

To each his own though--use whichever attack you find the most fun, and it can be fun to see multiple pools all drop at once! I actually do agree that Stopping Shot is a cool special, and I do make use of it from time to time.
