Thread: ATTN:DOT WHORES I need some DOT advice.
anyway health bleeds are not any good against pc in pvp normally they are buffed so they regen to fast in pvp a mind bleed is better
bleeds mainly suck in pvp, ur better off just getting mind dot geos

In a PvP situation, Will the Health bleeds attack stack? Not just Health Shot 1 and Health Shot 2 But I also have a Modified Republic Blaster. Here are the blaster stats: Type - bleeding, Attribute - Health, Strength - 105, Duration - 105s, Potency - 75%.
So this is what I mean. During a PvP fight, Using me Geo Blaster, I hit my opponent with Health Shot 2, then I hit him with Health Shot 1, then I switch to my Modified Republic and hit him with that. So essentially I have hit him with three seperate health bleed shots. Will they all stack? What happens if I use my modified republic blaster to shoot the Health Shot 2 and Health Shot 1? Would I still get three stacking hits? If they don't stack, how do you determine is I use Health Shot 2 or just attack with the Modified Republic?
Thanks for your help.

Bleeding Shot causes a Mind Bleed, not Health, I believe. Use it in conjunction with Eye Shot. Stick all those other Health Bleeds on as well, though, since they tend to have a significant psychological effect on your opponent.

Yes. Bleeds do stack as long as they are from different specials and different guns. The best 'bleed-only' macro is to equip a modified rep. blaster and use /healthshot1, /healthshot2....this sets three bleeds. If you have BH pistols skills add /torsoshot and /bleedingshot. This sets a significant bleed/fire onhealththat WILL work in PvP, contrary to what some believe. To add fuel to the fire, you can equip your health-poison geo and use the same macro to add a health poison in as well. Most people who PvP can only use stimpack C's so a fire, a poison, and 4 bleeds sill sap the health right out of em. .. if you have a secondhealth poison geo, equip the second and its poison will stack along with the other. . . or a health-fire . . . if those dont work, spam /eyeshot with your mind-fire and mind-poison guns.
With DoTs, all things are possible!

Uthyr,
That is great information. I had no idea that a health shot 2 could actually be a mind bleed. Thanks for the post.

Again I'll paste a quote I made in an earlier thread, just to clear up any misconceptions:BleedingShot is not exclusively a Mind DoT. It bleeds all three HAMs. I confirmed that today with a field test, where I shot several perleks, each with a single BleedingShot and then peacing, and watched the ticks. Most of the time, all 3 pools seemed to tick at about the same rate (I didn't actually measure them--this is just my casual observation). Once, I saw only Action and Mind tick, and Health did not tick at all over the course of a couple of minutes. This is not the first time I've seen people state that Bleeding Shot is a mind-only bleed. I am guessing it is mistakenly listed that way somewhere?

Actually, yes - on the Rem's SWG Damage Calculator page.
Yes, that's where I got the information from, in conjunction with other players saying the same thing, but they may very well have gotten their information from Rem's as well.
Can anyone contact Rem to have him update? Or is he AWOL?
And on another thought, how is "DOT whore" a compliment? LOL
