Thread: what could they nerf?
any idea whats gonna get the nerf bat?
im sitting here hard and trying to think......what stop shot? extra ham on pistol whip?
whats this actually gonna solve?
any ideas what their gonna nerf and how their gonna go about it?
so basicly they nerfed the ham cost, beat down with the wiffle ball bat.....broke it on everyones head
their going out to wallmart, and come sometime this week their gonna make a second wave on the pistoleers since we can still do it 5 times before running out of ham?
this is absolutly insane, put **edit**ing timers on kd's and everyone is gonna be happy.....screw ham, 2 game designers came up with this idea over a 12 pack and a quad, i swear
Who knows, honestly. With the posts I've read lately regarding other profession balance (T21, CH), I'm a shocked and awed at what I'm reading. My armor is reason, and my weapons are logic and data. These things might be worthless vs the foe that's out there circling.
My D-Day plan of action I'm working on now. I'm looking at weapons of all three professions, and hopefully I can get some freaking damage/delay modifiers from the other 2, so at least a minimal comparison can be made. But why would they test when they can just type "nerf pisotleers"? Which is harder? I like the famouse "stopping shot does 1800 damage" post. Please someone, give me a shock treatment, I think I just went crazy :/
I really do think the issues currently are about:
1. knockdowns are still bugged
2. Weapon speed +100 is farged.
3. It was easy to XP due to #1, so you have high level pistoleers
4. Buffs
5. No one wears armor, and when they do, it's rare that they have any heat resist. This makes the FWG5 ignore most armor. Not our fault. I wear heat resistant armor, why can't everyone else? As a result of no armor, or ineffective armor, people aren't seeing the HUGE damage nerf pistols already have when they hit armor.
6. The average game-knoweldge quotient I'm seeing is horribly inadequate to make reasonable decisions. That actually leads to all 5 of the above.
7. Crafting "might" be an issue, but that's to be determined.

After that dust settles, see what shakes out. Otherwise, I don't think it's going to be a good thing for us.
