What variables affect the speed of weapon decay? Does pistol whipping tear down your weapon faster than body shots? Does slicing have an adverse effect on weapon lifetime?
Thanks for your time and let me say that the Pistoleer FAQ is incredibly useful and informative.
I must say that I'm disappointed that I will be using Body Shot 2 until master because I won't be doing Bounty Hunter pistol... at least I won't be using Double Tap or Stopping Shot like a fool now!

Everyone says that pistol whip speeds up weapon decay, but I haven't noticed it personally.
Using specials in general though does cause faster delay than regular shooting, and the Overcharge shots are supposed to cause the most weapon damage (I have not tested to confirm it though).

I heard there was a bug with weapon power ups causing an insane amount of decay of a short period of time. Has this been fixed yet?
