Ok, i wanted a Twi'lek head wrap, so iu was running around from tailor to tailor searching, finally i gotto Akima, well, we found none that would work w/ me, so ioffered a no DB duel for fun, and she accepted

I am a pistoleer w/ 700 mind, not that hard for rifle eh? Well, we predicted a win from her, almost surely. After modifying my BS2 spam macro we started

Ok, at 20 yrds. we went prone, and it began. I fired supress. fire b/c of the rumor i heard that it stalls the combat actions for 5 sec, but instead she went kneeling..odd, but ok, so we kept fighting and i finally won, with only 400 or so off mind, and easily did first aid and healed her...

Great fun, mostly because we were just joking around w/ it, but i found that just b/c we dont have whip or super-uber dmg. does not mean we still pwn, we are 4 times rifle/carbine instead of 5, either way we still pwn.

Well, you both are novices at your combat professions I imagine. For a pistoleer, you're going to gain 6 speed for every block up the comat xp line, whereas the riflemen get 10. Pistols are already fast weapons, so the extra speed is only shaving off a second here and there. With rifles, a novice is going to be shooting an order of magnitude slower than a master. If the rifleman had good medic skills, all your damage would have been worthless.

Moral of the story: you can't base weapon uberness off a duel between people with 1/8th of the profession finished.
