Thread: Should i Master Pistoleer For Body Shot 3?
Is BS3 fixed or does it still the same amount of damage as BS2?
my advice is to get pistoleer.....dont worry about body shot 3 i never use it....get pistoleer for fan shot

TorsoShot is far superior to BodyShot3, if that's what you're asking. TorsoShot not only spits out more damage (3.0 versus 2.5 damage modifier) but it also has an unhealable Flame DoT which is awesome. It's great even in PvE because it stacks with HealthShot1 and 2.
As far as pure Pistoleers go, BodyShot2 is better than BodyShot3 unless you're using a fast pistol at Master. Both are better than StoppingShot if you're a pure Pistoleer, unless you're a Master with a pistol that is faster than 1.0 speed, because StoppingShot is just a random HAM damage special (meaning only 55% of attacks will hit health instead of 100%). As for FanShot, right now it is AOE so it is superior to any of our non-AOE attacks in certain situations.
But don't get too attached to FanShot. From what I've read it has been nerfed on TestCenter. I'll confirm that ASAP.

Frankly I have no idea. I'm going to do my best to get to the bottom of the FanShot nerf -- although I'd like to test it myself on TestCenter first, which I can't do right now.
But actually I'd rather see fixes on other broken specials than fanshot at every patch...

For Riflemen, an upgrade of Flurry Shot 1 (single target, increased damage) is Flurry Shot 2 (cone AE, increased damage). Also, for Flushing Shot 1 (single target, increased damge) is Flushing Shot 2 (cone AE, increased damage).
For Carbineers, Wild Shot 1 (single target, increased damage, random HAM?) the upgrade is Wild Shot 2 (multiple targets, increased damage, random HAM?).
Does anyone else not see this progression? You take a lower level shot, upgrade it, and add AE. It's the "standard formula" for the other big guns. Why can't Pistoleers get it too?
It's cuz Pistoleers get no love. RHSC syndrome.
Just change it to 'Triple Tap' and keep it AE. Simple, elegant, and in-line.
Why the endless chain of nerfs?? To be fair a few of them wern't pistoleer only nerfs, but general combat nerfs, or they hit othe proffs harder than us ( kd timer for carbineers).
We did get 3 pistol wip nerfs in a row tho. When there are only the 6 of us left and every other pistoleer has given up 'cause they removed the kd on wip, or made the dealy on stoppingshot 10 sec, or whatever, then we might see love. This is a pathetic attemt at "balance" by driving folks out of our proffesion, instead of having it scaled to other proffesions properly.
As long as we are an "add-on" class we will get no love of our own, dabblers have too much power and buffing up THE dabbler class will only hurt the game further.
Untill we aren't dabblers, no love.....no love means we have to be dabblers to compete....untill we aren't dabblers, no love.....no love means we have to be dabblers to compete. Gah.
