I did notice the satire, but unfortunately it doesn't carry well over a message. People will see your tag, decide that your trolling and will sufficiently roast you for it.
A lot of people on these boards for the lack of a better word just plain overreact to any post. Most will recognize your sarcasm, others won't.
Some people did take A Modest Proposal literally after all 
Bounty Hunter Well, every month there seems to be a flare up of new anti-(x-profession) posts on the various forums. It was quiet for a little while but now there's lots of noise.
There are just bad apples on both sides. Most of us try to ignore it but...come on...the game is so borked that this is like 75% of the fun sometimes.
Considering that 6 of the posts on the first page are anti-BH rants, some are even a repeats of other threads that had scrolled off, I think it would be more efficient to have one stickied thread.
It would help in following ways:
1) Save bandwidth, in that more pistoleer related posts would be visible on main page.
2) Eliminate redundancy by not repeating the same posts each day.
3) Save time as people will not have to repeat the same rants and responses multiple times in different posts.
4) Make it a lot easier for people to track new responses as you are looking at new responses in one post as opposed to multiple posts, hence again saving time.
5) Make it easier for TH and other devs either read or ignore the posts.
For shame trolling for flamers....

I'm just ashamed to see this happening so frequently.
Part of me wants to believe thatthese posts are startedthe same BHs who are plotting to wear "Novice Pistoleer" over their heads and then grief others to try to get us nerfed. But I suspect that very many of these flame posts are written by Pistoleers who don't understand that ranting, raving, and issuing personal attacks does nothing to earn us the Devs respect as a mature community.
Stop the flaming before the Devs write our input off as reactionary and immature.
