Thread: Pistoleer's Stop Complaining about BH's
Im so sick of people rantingon BH's, I got owned by a Pistoleer last night.
And the wining of eyeshot, please. You are a noob if you cant spend 100k on a 80/65 comp helm and another 5k to get it sliced for encum, or to make it 80/80. If any of you have worn that type of helm while getting eye shot, then you know it protects you out of 512 damage, 90-120 will only hit you, These obvious way to protect it will soon be used by everyone, so quit wining, pick up your krayt fwg5 and stop fighting and ending duel half way to tell the other person to stop using a special they have aquired for a purpose not to hunt wort's.
Ok, genious, what about those who cannot wear helmets? (big furry guys who like to hang out with Han Solo) Personally i have no problem with BH's. I dont want to nerf them at all. I would like the pistoleer broken stuff fixed, and the DX2 to get a bit of an overhaul. That's all.

This really is not a constructive post and all it does is fuel the flames. I think most people that PvP know about helmets anyway.
I posted this in another thread, butI think it applies here too.
Bounty Hunters talk about how many skill points they spend and that's why they should be gods in PvP. I don't agree. If you're in a shootout with pistols between a Master Bounty Hunter and a Master Gunfighter who should win? The Gunfighter of course! Come on. The BH requires 1,291,000 points of pistol weapons xp to get to Master BH. A Master Gunfighter takes 3,891,000 points of pistol weapons xp! Now who should be better with a pistol??? Come on now. A BH is a better all-around skilled character I think. But as far as a pistol shootout? Master Gunfighter should be the BEST by far! It's all about experience right? If the Pistoleer needs like 3 times more pistol experience to make Master as a BH then he should rule with a pistol. If the Bounty Hunters don't like it, use a carbine or LLC. If those are not a match for the pistoleer, then maybe there are some issues there. But stop trying to say that a BH should be able to beat a Master Gunfighter in a pistol shootout! Don't get too close and use your LLC. That what I would do. If that doesn't work, then there is something wrong there. A rifle should be able to beat a pistol from a decent range any day.
(These numbers might not be exactly right. I got the stats from www.swgcenter.com and they might be a little off. I'm not sure. But they are at least close and in the correct ratio for xp to profession.)

How do you know he was not a a pistoleer with BH pistol skills also? I mean I hear BH complaining all the time about being taken out all the time by one shot from a pistoleer... AGAIN, how do you know that they are PURE pistoleers? Did you ask them? Do you think they would tell you the truth? I mean give me a break. For all you know they are probably BHs with the pistoleer tag so noone knows that they are BHs.
I have no problems with any of the professions in the game. Live and let live.
But don't complain about one class when you have no idea what skills the person you are fighting ACTUALLY has.
Oh, and not everyone can wear those stupid helms (that you are talking about). I don't even know what you are talking about because, being a wookiee I have never looked into them (since we can't wear anything like that).

Really It takes that much xp to get to master BH, So you dont have to spend 2 weeks grinding off a BH mission term?
So in persepctive, this is how it is?
BH using Scatter VS Pistoleer = Pistoleer wins
BH using carbine VS Pistoleer = BH win's
BH using LLC VS Pistoleer = BH win's
So in this the BH only loses when he uses pistols against a pistoleer is that right?

And for the people who dont know about helmets or dont have 20 minutes to get 100k Should not even be PvPing if all there going to do is Dogg on us for not knowing how to protect them selves.

As it stands right now if you indeed are getting owened by a pure pistoleer then you have no idea how to use the skills you have!!!! Because im a master gunfighter and guess what? I some times get owend by BH's and then again i some times owen them..............deal with it. All professions need some love but for you to just roll up and troll your little heart out in our forum about how you are schooled by pistoleers, cry me a river FOOL!!!!! Every one dies in PVP even Master BH's

And it owns, I dont use a scatter, I use an fwg5 because Its way better in the tests I have done.
I find it insulting for someone to rant about BH being way better than a master gunfighter because its not true.

Are you really telling ppl to wear a composite helmet to avoid Eye Shot (which is very efficient, even with any kind of helmet) and then, THAT YOU USE A FWG5 BECAUSE IT IS BETTER WITH YOUR TESTS ???
