Thread: Best dx2 without lootd enhancements?

Posted this on the ws board and got cricket chirping.... sooo i try here:


Sooo... with the FWG on the chopping block, the demand for this seems like it will go up. What I'm wondering is what is the best DX2 that can be made with normally mined resources?


Best probably should be defined: I mean best DPS. Generally faster weapons have better DPS so:


((minDmg+maxDmg)/2)/delay = highest number is what we're looking for.


Also would be interested in knowing Fastest possible and Highest dmg possible (obviously 2 different dx2's there).

On Bria, something along the lines of 106-166 damage with a speed of something over 2 seconds would be a good master-crafted DX2.


Using conventional instead of advanced components would boost the speed by .2 or so, but cut damage.

I havea couplein the 70dps area, that is non-Krayt after slice but without power up.


This compares to something like 85dps for non-Krayt, post-slice FWG5, again with no power up.

We recently got some 100-160 2.5 speed Dx2's .. oh what i would give for at least 85ish pistol speed

Thats not just a krayt its dmg sliced and powered up too from what I've seen.



The chalistra one is the only out-of-sync dx2 i've heard of. Thats some insane stats. On bria they wbere somehow "duping" krayt stuff or something because they were making krayt quality fwgs in bulk. I wonder if that's how chalistra has that quality of dx2?

103-253 @ 1.7


It's krayt and that's witha 32%damage powerup. Sliced for speed.

I bought the dx2 from descartes. not quite as good as he stated.



111-165 Dmg.


Speed 2.3



haven't used it yet. but it is one of the best i've seen. If it weren't for the +.3 or so on speed and the crappy range modifier, and the broken ar1, it might be at least a competitor to the scatter. Though dmg is coming up about 20-30 points short of the current scatters (non-sliced) on Chilastra.

104-156 2,6 unsilced on intrpid, bought it for about 25k.

It started out as a 111-170 2.1 speed uncliced. Then got a 32% damage slice for 148-227 damage. Then I use a powerup and thedamage goes upto 174-300. I like my dx2.
