pistoleers are the only ranged combat profession with a knockdown shot if my info is correct. knockdown shot is too powerful for a ranged weapon in pvp. all you need to do is land 1 knockdown shot and the fight is over.this doenst make forvery fun pvp.none of the other ranged professions have this and if they even want to have a remote chance of competing in pvp they have to go pistoleer or not do pvp at all. why do u think pistoleer is the secondmost popular profession in the game right behind creature handler? i think it has a lot do with knockdown shot. I am relatively new to this profession but i'd like to hear arguments for and against my view point. especially from our correspondent. thanks

Actually Pistoleer is the only ranged profession without a ranged knockdown. I stopped reading after that since your facts are wrong anyway.

Smugglers have a KD shot, not Pistoleers. Its called Low Blow, in the Dirty Fighting Tree. Next time get your facts straight, mmk?

yeah i think your wrong on that. The only knockdown they have i think is the melee defense.. and if your talking about that. In my opinion its nothing cause i hear u have to be within 5m to use.

Rifleman - do Posture Up attacks. Pretty worthless in PvP since I've never seen anyone kneel or go prone in a LONG time.

Pistoleer - 5m KD. Used to have a ranged KD, but that was changed a while ago.

Carbineers - Have the only RangedKD that isn't on a timer and can continually KD an opponent. It is at 0002.

Smugglers - Have Low Blow, which is the only Ranged Pistol KD.

Bounty Hunters - Have 2 Ranged Knockdowns. Underhand shot just KD's the opponent. Fire Knockdown will KD the opponent and has a good chance of adding a Dizzy as well, making it the best Ranged KD. Despite the name, Fire Knockdown doesn't add a Fire DoT.

Rifle men can dizzy from a distance, so the posture change and dizzy is pretty good.
