Hey everyone...I was just wondering if anyone else agrees with me that being able to use an EFFECTIVE "Master Level"DL-44 (Han Solo)type pistol in the upcoming combat revampwould increse the pistoleer proffesion's Star Wars feel significantly. Just being able to have a simple blaster pistol that actually works well,as opposed to big strange looking pistols like the DX2 and FWG-5 that have never been seen in the Star Wars films before. This has already been suggested, but i also want to say that i thinkvisibleholsters would also give muchmore of a Star Wars feel.Just my opinion....what do you all think?

I think right now, just about anything added or fixed in the prof. would be a gift from god *i.e. devs*.
Personally, i would rather have specials that work opposed to holsters and guns that make the game "Star Warsy".

You can krayt a dl44, if you do that it's pretty decent if you want to RP with it.

Yeah I had a metal DL44 made with krayt tissues. It is pretty nice. Max damage over 300 with powerup too.

Marine231, just so you know, the Power 5 looks almost identical to the 44's. It can cary the same astetic attachments(scope, barrel), and has much better stats. Well crafted P5's approach 80-190 base damage, about 2.5 spd, depending on your server of course. They can be krayted with 3 tissues. Allotgether its a better gun than either of the 44's and likeI said, looks nearly the same. I currently carry a P5 with 91- 323, 2.6 spd, non krayted, for plinking, RP, ect. Really the only bad thing about the gun is its not a AP 1 pistol, otherwiseI never really use any other energy gun

We're hoping so. There are supposed to be multiple versions of pistols after the weapon revamp, certed at different points in the tree. I've passed on that we want a nice DL-44.

Unless you're going for looks, you're generally better off with a regular (non-metal) DL44. The regular one's stats will always bebetter because the Metal DL-44 requires a ferrous metal which decreases the final product.

Oh I did not know that. Thanks for the info. I thought it was basically the same just color variation.
