Hello all my fellow Gunfighters,

Just a question for anyone who has any facts regarding this inquiry... I was thinking about dropping my medic skills (master medic, at the moment) , and investing in scout/marksman XP so that I can get the pistol spec tree of Bounty Hunter. It would be nice to have the extra +50 speed, and +50 accuracy that it provides. BUT, I've heard different rumors regarding the Pistoleer/BH combo. I've heard that the pistol skill modifers do not stack with one another. I've also heard that there is a CAP on skill modifiers. However, I have no factual info to go by. Does anyone out there know the real story on this? I'd really like to have a decent answer before I work through the rest of the scout/marksman tree to find out I wasted my time. Please help me if you have any answers.

P.S... just wanted to add a note. This post is not about Pistoleer vs. Bounty Hunter. There are plenty of those threads already. I was just curious as to whether or not I can use the BH pistol spec to my advantage to max out my pistol speed and accuracy, along with a few special moves.

I think the consensus herehas beenthat they do stack and that at least speed is capped at 100. One poster claimed that with his 100+ speed he fired at exactly the same rate as another person with less speed.

Im goin for the same thing and have infact started it already. I hope that the mods do infact stack.

What I'm trying to figure out is if Pistol Speed affects how fast you fire or how many times you can land a hit in one attack.
