What is up with that?

i trained to pistoleer and then trained to pistolstances II so i got a shot called doubletap.

This attack requires 620,000 more pistolexp so i would expect it to be a lot better than bodyshot II which only requires 21,000 pistol exp.

Doubletap does lower damage than bodyshot II and the worst part about it,it hits all 3 pools where bodyshot II only hits healthpool.

A trained pistoeer should be way better than just someone with 3 boxes in pistol in markman.
I didn't spend 620,000 pistolxp to get an attack that is worse did i?

Either bodyshot II is to powerful which i don't find because it eats away actionpool like mad or else doubletap needs to be upgraded to do more damage and to hit the same HAMpool just like bodyshot II.

Hmmm now that i think about it i know where the dog is buried.
even in the basic professions markman and brawler are given attacks that hits certain HAMpools and imo that should only be something that trained advanced classes should do.
Maybe all the attacks in marksman and brawler trees should keep the damage they have but then they should hit randomly in the HAMpools.
This would give those who trained to advanced classes an advantage when they had attacks that only hit 1 Pool.
Basic classes should not be more powerful than advanced ones should they?

what you think?

Does doubletap hit all three pools SIMULTANEOUSLY? I doubt it, but man that would rock.

Mameluke, it sounds like doubletap is the souped up version of overcharge shot, from what you'e saying?

Doubletap hits a RANDOM pool, not 3 at once. Doubletap also doesnt wreck your gun condition like Overcharge, when you get significant speed mods you'll realize how fast your gun breaks and you wont want to use overcharge.

Double tap is very nice doing exp work, high damage average and low action cost -- was good for long, long exp sessions, didnt need to heal myself hardly ever unless the occassional mob got thru my 3 pets ) Almost making it thru pistoleer in week - daddy like!

Alright first off, I got doubletap a little while ago..and your post made me wonder. So I decided to try it out.. Bodyshot did around 200-300 damage every time, and it only attacks health pool...while double tap does 400-500 and can hit every pool. Even though it hits the health pool for the majority, then action, then mind. I'm curious about how you tested it out, from what I've seen I drop things faster and it even costs less than bodyshot... and I haven't checked out the speed, but it seems to be shooting at the same rate..almost faster from what I can tell. Doesn't seem too gimped =)

And by the way, if you hate the way you burn through your HAM switch to a better gun lol. I currently use 30 action for doubletap and 32 for bodyshot..maybe it's your gun? Mines a scout blaster 58-120 2.4 speed Pretty crummy but it's all I could find =)
