I have two pistols right now I've been using one is a 49-103/1.3 Scout Blaster and the other is a 29-150/3.5 FWG5... Even though the scout blaster does less damage, it is so much faster that when I equip the FWG5 I feel like the game must be bugged I'm shooting so slow. Also I might as well turn that FWG5 towards my own head the way my pools drop when I use it... Has anybody found a better pistolthan the Scout Blaster?

I realize that each individual gun in this game varries greatly, but right now speed, action cost and minimum damage seem far more important than max damage. The scout blaster seems to excel in these three areas.

Well you're right. SB's are my workshorse pistols becausee they're fast and the costs are low. But then if I examine an animal and see it has 40% energy resistance but no heat resistance, I'd be equipping the FWG5 because it will be more efficient in that paticular situation. I was using a DX2 on fambaas tonight because of resists.

Any opinions on the Striker or Power5? I have a friend that is at Advanced Pistol and closing in on Expert. He's been using a CDEF for weeks now and I've finally convinced him to invest in a better weapon.

We picked up a Scout Blaster for him. What should he use when he achieves Expert? I've heard it said that the Striker is junk. How about the Power5?
