Ok finally got to Ranged Support Specialist today and got the Suppresion Fire 1 shot, this does not appear to do what the description claims.

When I fire it, it looks like the Pointblank area shot and never forces anything into a lower position.

Sigh... and to think I thought I was going to get a usefull attack for all my hard work...

Anybody have any info on this one? Is it a complete waste of time?

I skipped it to get melee defense 1 which is really cool!

Yeah, I was really disappointed. Since I'm a CH, I was hoping to sic my pets on something then use suppression to keep forcing the target into a kneeling or prone position so the pets would have attack bonuses. Unfortunately, it seems to be broken - it never forces anything into a lower position.

what does pistol melee defense do?

Actually to update my own post, if you read the updates of what is being put on Test Center it says they are fixing this move, I hope so because it sounded good and I have so far been extremely disappointed by it.

Right now you need to use a carbine weapon for the suppression part of the attack to work. Hopefully that is what the devs are fixing. If not this attack is worthless to pistoleers
