Seems like the last couple of days, I've been missing a lot. And before that, I missed rarely unless I was running, anyone else notice this? Btw, they dont have "nerfed" in the spellchecker?

actually... yah... i noticed that i go into these lil fits of missing every now and again. like 3-5 misses in a row. they always come in a row. it's really weird. i really noticed it today, seems far farmore frequentthan anything i've seen before.

Yes, something was adjusted, but I think it's a good thing (assuming it was done across the board to all classes) because it made more of the game "necessary".

- I actually need to go prone for long distance shooting to get good accuracy now.

- It's actually worth it to quickly drop to kneeling whenever a mob isn't meleeing you.

- It makes a different to pay attention to a weapon's ideal range now, and to know which weapons to use when (FWG5 for range. Scout or DX2 for shorter range. One of the low levels ones... D18 I think it was - is pretty accurate too).

- It made me look at more weapon stats. I WANT pistols with advanced barrels and a HAM experimented scope now (will give about +20 to ideal range accuracy, which scales down in both directions).

I think that in general when something affects classes equally and forces you to think and use strategy more, that's a good thing, so I'll give this "nerf" a thumbs up.

Hmm, I didn't get much of a chance to play last night, and haven't played today either. But do you mean that accuracy has been nerfed again? or are you refering to the one from the big patch?

Seems like it happened the day of the big patch.

Ya it happened form the big patch, but their is another accuracy nerf on the way.Their upping the penalty to hit something while moving, and also upping the penalty to hit something that is moving. This is because the mellees say they dont have a chance at closing the gap in PvP.

Hopefully they do this right cause if not it just gonna reverse the tables totally. If they botch it melleesmight be able to close the gap with little risk at all and once gap is closed it'll be lights out for the person using ranged weapon. This would kind of go against what the devs said not to long ago about how a mellee should fear going into battle with someone wielding a blaster.

Truthfully i'm not sure if they will ever be able to balance pvp between ranged and mellee peeps correctly.

Then if they close the gap too quickly, there will be a nerf on meleer's, and would that solve anything?

Trust me NerfTooMuch, it's there, it's taking me almost twice as long to solo now. And if they do put this accuracy penalty in, it's just another PvP aspect that is DESTROYING this game for PvE people such as myself. So not only am I gonna be missing my target as much as I am now, but I'm also gonna be missing it twice as much now because it's moving? It's moving straight for me, like a standing still target, but I"m gonna miss it more? I should just throw my pistol at him, but I'd probably miss to huh? I think the people who because artisan's, engineer's, weaponsmith's, ect. are the only ones that were smart here because by the end of the year, the combat class's will be unplayable.

This really sucks. Nerfing accuracy in PvE to make PvP people happy, I do believe that there are more PvE folks here then PvP folks, so why is all the catering going to PvP? Nerfing knockdown with the 30 second timer is once again hurting PvE folks to satisfy the PvP folks? And the people who brought this on were the melee guys beause they couldn't get into melee range of a ranged weapon user? That's like playing a warrior in EQ and asking to nerf druids because the druid snared the warrior so he couldn't get into melee range, then died to his nukes. So the melee people don't want us using our weapons? is that it? If your charging at me with a sword, you think you can deflect my shots? what are you? A JEDI? This is stupid, I swear this is getting out of hand, it has me pissed. Why can't they just make a PvP server and PvE server so the PvE people can stop getting nerfed because of the PvP folks?

Bolanos: I haven't noticed a single change in accuracy. I went from Int. to Expert Marksmanship today, which changed my miss rate from about 1:15 to 1:30. At close range, I have a -5 modifier, yet I still almost never miss. I have no idea why you're missing so much...

The devs have constantly reiterated that they don't want players soloing red con mobs, yet everyone can do it. The nerfs to knockdown are not only for pvp, but also to bring everyone down to where the devs think we should be.

Accuracy is like 1/4 of the ability to take down red con mobs. Other abilities that help, high damage (when I get a lucky shot in that is), snare traps, panic shot, ect. So it will take even longer to take them down, which means I'll have to use up more traps. What's next, panic shot will no longer have animals run away? Honestly, all of these nerfs are really getting stupid.

I don't think they are doing it to justify PvP totally. Holo has stated many times that players are too powerful. I think this is step II on changing that (the first being the higher KD costs, which is also gonna change). He stated recently that we should be having a 50/50 chance against white cons, and we should die about 95% of the time against red cons. I don't know about your, but I can easily work over many red cons.

I think the bigger issue with melee is that they can't hit ANYTHING moving, and we can.

If I may ask, what are you accuracy modifiers? I have about 124(at work now), and I rarely miss from 3M to 64M, standing, running using either a scout, FWG5,DX-2 or scatter.
