Thread: How Does Pistol Melee Defense Work?

I have enough CXP to train pistol special abilities 1. I was wondering if Pistol Whip is worth it. What kind of damage can i expect? Is it a knockdown?

Pistol Melee Defense I = Pistol Whip.
It is a very short range (8 meters I think) knock-down that also does quite good damage.
However, like with all KDs, it has already had its HAM costs greatly raised, and in the future (I believe this is now test now and slated to go live either next week or the week after?) you will only be able to KD a target once every 30 seconds.
So it used to be VERY good - unbalanced even - but instead of fixing the stacking bug (KD someone once, they can't do anything for (arbitrary numbers) 10 seconds. Hit them again, and instead of resetting their 10 second counter, they now can't do anything for 20 seconds), fixing and enabling defensive skills, and tweaking things like resists, damage, duration, etc..., they've laid out a couple major nerfs in a row without even fixing half the factors in the big equation.
