i think it should unequip a persons weapon. This should buy you time to get a 1-2 shots off before they can re-equip it. if u hotkey weapons you can equip them slightly faster, but you would still be at a disadvantage. Im not really big on damaging the condition of a weapon, because there is always the chance it will break when you repair it, and im fearing the day my 290 max fwg5 breaks.

I personally prefer to not unequip their weapon, just make it like Panic shot where they can't shoot for a few seconds.

i think that by havinbg it unequip there weapon it gives teh possibility to buy a random amount of time depending on how prepared the person is. (wheteher or not hey hotkey their guns for example) and i think this is a valid use.

also i'd rather have a unique skill rather than a rehash of some smuggler skill

In my opinion, Disarming Shot 1 should unequip the weapon, Disarming Shot 2 should hurt the condition and give a command delay, similar to knockdown but without actually knocking the opponent down.
