Pistoleer Archive

What things are broken in pistoleer? Isn't Armor Piercing for the DX2 broken, or did they fix it? Is disarming shot broken? Is multi-target attack (Master Pistoleer) broken? I've debating on what skills to persue and I don't wanna pick something that is busted. Thanks

hrmm..you may think its NOT broken becuase you only see people using the specials that WORK...such as only using the trickshot line. all of the other ones currently dont work...or only work to an extent and dont do what there supposed to

hey butter i can give you a step-by-step guide to seeing all the broken skills.

1) open game

2) push ctrl+s

3) highlight pistoleer

4) the boxes are filled with broken things about pistoleer

there ya go, thats it. no more, no less

What does "easily obtainable" have to do with our broken stats? Just because you might think it's easy to achieve novice pistoleer doesn't mean nothing is wrong with it. Unless you can post howour specials are "working as intended" stop posting your ignorant arguments.

Just read my State of the Profession Report ... everything is listed there.

just because some specials are not very "special" does not equal a broken/weak/underpowered class.

By the way, before posting this I did read the 11/6 status report...I just wanted more specific things that are broken and if the patch fixed any of them.

Pistoleer is the easiest combat class in the entire game to play, and starting from novice markman level the easiest class to reach.

It was the easiest prepatch and after Pistoleer getting the most upgrades in the patch, ahead of broken professions like Pikeman, is by far and away the most powerful class in the game, despite requiring a tiny skill point investment.

I made a new character yesterday, and for 1000 credits from the bazaar bought a 50-130 1.4 D18 Pistol, which helped me reach Pistols 3 and Ranged Support 3. I was rollshotting and hitting for 300-400 damage vs durni's etc from 60m away.

Novice Pikeman on the other hand have to use 5-7 speed 30-60 wooden sticks at novice brawler, which have to be used at 5m and have terrible terrible accuracy.

Pistoleer is not broken, far from it.
