Thread: The right branch to go up in
Hi im a MCH and a Master Ranger, I and also a pistooler with 3 slots. What i was wondering is Body shoot 3 working and if so should i change things so that is what my slots are in. I went up in techniques, and had to get rid of fan shoot to master Ranger (thought they would add things when the new patch, but nothing came out of it). so i just have stoping shoot as my highest, and it feels so slow to me. Also being a MCH going for the red ham bar is best for me cuz that is what my creatureshit most the time,should i Stay in techinques?
what are peoples opinons on that, Thanks
The only prob with staying with tech. is that your accuracy will not be so great. You want some if not all of the tree with accuracy and such in it, the same tree also has most of the deffenses (i think).

If only damage be your concern, then the correct answer is three boxes on the far right column, for more speed (plus Pistol Whip as a nice side bonus) and thus more damage per second.
Since you cannot get the AOE FanShot, and since BodyShot2 has a higher uncapped Health DPS (you are correct that the red bar is what matters for your playstyle -- I am also CH/Pistoleer) than any special in the Pistoleer tree, and since at your level of Pistoleer investment you will not run into the speed cap (except maybe with some Krayt guns), you have no reason to use StoppingShot or BodyShot3.

Now, the new patch might have thrown a wrinkle into all this -- the Dodge mods in the 1st column and the Defence Vs. X mods in the 3rd. But we do not have much hard data on these yet; much less are we able to give advice on, say more Dodge vs. more Speed.
