I think that I might be the only wookiee pistoleer in the galaxy. No abilty to defend from attacks but yet I am supposed to fight in close quaters. I have no armor. No way to protect myself. Even my wookieeroar doesnt work. Come on SWG have so love for us wookiees. We are the characters that make Star Wars what it is, but yet in the game you treat us like crap. Just do something to make a person want to be a wookiee is that to hard!

hey I'm a wook too... I LOVE my pistoleer Profession.. course i was smart and picked up CH too, thats the only way any of the species really survive going head to head against a mob... armor helps, but come on.. even with armor you can't go 1v1 against a 10k ham mob

Well, I'm a wookiee pistoler and I have no problems at all. No pets to assist me and I still could solo kamurith missions. The secret? Full buffs, including mind stats. Also I'm a master doctor so I can heal myself easily. In either case, don't stand still, run around. Use warning shot if you have it to limit the number attacking you (or even make a single one go to a distance).. A pistoleer doesn't have to fignt at point blank. That said, some armor would be nice.

if you're going to play a wookie, you should pick a profession which, in your opinion maximizes the benefit of increased HAM and minimizes the penalty of the inability to wear armor.

Come on you guys, I'm a human and I almost never wear armor anyway. it's so expensive and it encumbers so much, it's a huge pain in the rear. Plus now that it has death decay AND use decay, I've placed mine in the bank.

I think wookies would make great Docs, rifleman, combat medics, and CH's. pick something that works best for you and is fun. if you're not happy with your char, start over and pick another race.

I love the wookie race and realize you guys face some unique challenges but I just don't think you have that bad of a deal. a

I do love playing as a wook.. really the only downside they have imo is the crap the Imp faction pulls on cost of faction items... but thats my choice..

Rifleman was great as a wook.. except when I was playing it rifleman was quite messed up.. thankfully its a bit better with the new patch.

As far as the armor though, really how many groups wear armor? the requirements are so high you don't gain that much of an advantage versus the cost of getting and using it (i'ld hate to need to be buffed to use my pistol everytime)

Oh my finally some other wookiee pistoleer's I just made master about a week ago and i totaly agree wookiee's get no love I would have restarted as another race a long time ago if i hadn't worked so hard on my wookiee and yes we do need creature handler skills just to survive out there the only armor that we can wear is personal shield generators and they first of all cost too much, second of all suck, and third I swear i can break one in30 minutes or less.

Well all we can do i guess is hope for the future to give us walking carpets some love

b.t.w the extra stats we get mean nothing compared to being able to wear armor
