Thread: Hey... since the riflemen are so interested in nerfing pistols...

I wonder if it is worth our time to bring up all of the skeletons in their closet. You know... "to get things fixed." Like the campaign to nerf... er "fix"the republic blaster.

Little tidbits like... conceal shot working when not under cover... or prone.

Or the fact that a rifleman with a T21 is 95% accurate at point blank range shooting every second because of their ludicrous accuracy increase...

I mean hey... if they have a problem with a republic blaster at 64m I think its **edit** well in our interests to bring up the fact that they simply don't miss up close either.

To all riflemen reading this: are you really interested in poking this hornet's nest? Is it worth it to you to make us bitter enemies?

Ahazi has only had the rainbow crystals (gems?) to make the T21 once since the server went live. The first week before the first shift. Since then no rainbows. Amazing isn't it? No Ahazi Rifleman has ever been able to purchase the T21 because no weaponcrafter knew they'd need those resources before they shifted out.

And my response is if they nerf the republic they should also nerf the spraystick. no rifle should fire that fast or be close range like that. It won't affect the masters but the novices will be SOL.

Just so you guys know, I've gotten PMs from some of you about the thread where the Rifleman Correspondent says that he's talking to the Devs about nerfing the Republic Blaster and will get an answer from them soon.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention -- apparently this was all occurring over private messages, so I didn't even know it was going on. I made some posts about this issue on the Correspondent Forum, and received responses from the Devs, so I know they read them. You can be sure that our voice was heard on the issue, at least to some extent.

I'm disappointed by the way this happened. I have no idea why the Riflemen are spending so much time worrying about the Republic Blaster, as opposed to their own issues/bugs/problems, but it would have been nice to know about this without having to read the Rifleman forum. I don't like the idea of Correspondents calling for nerfs over private messages.

Nonetheless, you guys can rest assured that I've done my best to get our voice heard on the issue. Like I said, I have no idea why they are focusing so much on the Republic Blaster, but I made sure that they knew our concerns on the issue.

WOOT! Kick some ass Phil!

It sucks to see that Correspondents can abuse their given privledges, and unless they quit, there doesn't seem like a way to get them out. And I dont think their own profession is going to oust them for nerfing other professions as long as it makes their own seem better.

Now this is just incredible. Commando weapons have been +0 at range forever and these guys have the balls to call nerf on us (and get an instantdeveloper response!!) having had our little, measly AP1Republic Blaster for 5 freaking days. Yet another example of nerfing caused by a tiny number of PvP players in one class that whacks 100% of the players in another (and in this case, much larger) class. And given that the Blaster has only worked such as short time, probably hardly any of those calling nerf on the weapon have actually been hit with one yet. Slick.

(The Marksman correspondent has the right idea -- sit on this range thing for a while; it is hardly game breaking.)
