I've said this in a number of threads already ... Thunderheart promised that he'd respond to all professions this weekend, but it hasn't happened. Before that he said he'd respond last week, but wasn't able to get to it. My sense of things is that Thunderheart is busy and that we shouldn't hold our breath waiting for a response from the Devs.
I've done my best to let the Devs know about these issues-- not just Thunderheart, but the Combat Devs as well. Thunderheart keeps saying that we'll respond soon, but my best advice for everyone is not to hold your breath waiting for them to reply to us. They have a lot on their plate and we're very low on their priority list, for whatever reason. *shrug*
I'll keep doing my best to keep bugging them about our issues.
I agree that DS2 should do some disarming. Maybe DS2shouldhit the action pool withknockdown effect... this would eliminate the need for Pistoleers to pick-up Smuggler skills.
Lol, good luck with that one... DisarmingShot2 used to KD... that got nerfed faster than a baz nitch lair.
We will have a much better chance on getting this special useful by
- Decreasing the HAM cost
- Increasing the damage
- adding a state effect that approximates "disarming" I suggest +Intimidate+ at DisarmingShot2 and Stun at +DisarmingShot1+

Any word on...
- An increase the Master Pistoleer speed to +85 -- at the very least +80.
- Maybe an improved BS3 with abetter DPS and have a chance to bleed.
- An improved DX2 pistol (slightly greater ideal range and slightly higher-end damage).
- Pistol Melee Defense 2 should have a chance todizzy and knockdown if landed.
- Removal ofthe dodge animation from the game for our characters -- replace with +DODGE+ above our heads.
etc. etc.
