Thread: Is advanced stopping shot broken?
That is client/server syncronisation lag. When you shot the krayt with stopping shot, it wasn't where your client said it was, it was probably about 10m from you rather than the 45m that was reported by your client.
So you stand at 45m thinking you are out of range, all the time getting hit and watching the krayt walk towards you while the root effect flickers over it.
When the your client eventually syncs, the krayt is rooted at that spot 10m away from you, where it has been all this time.
The best tactic is to keep running in a circle, if you get this right you should be following on the tail of the krayt while it retraces the steps you took 30 seconds earlier so it looks as if you are chasing it and it is running away from you.

ok well can u try to explain to me how that the target we were fightin gstoped when we got the root over its head but about half way threw teh timer it moved at normal speed?
I already did. That is client/server lag as well.
