Just a curiousity question here really. As I was leveling through pistoleer I saw I was getting points in Pistol AIming. Now I am not sure what benefit it is to me. I do not have ranged support in Marksman at the moment and wasn't going to consider taking it but since the only shot I can see that mentions Aim is in there I thought I best atleast find out what it is all about.
Now the branch is a possibility I have points I can spend on it - I also have a skill tape that can boost my Pistol Aiming skill as well - but is it really worth it and is Pistol Aiming anything to do with the general Aim shot given in marksman ??
Thanks in advance for any answers

Yup thats the modifier for /aim.
Using /aim increases the accuracy on your next 3 shots. You can stack /aim 3 times to get even more accuracy, but only for 3 shots.
I never used it in PvE, it can be useful in PvP though, but is also rarely used. Can be helpful when duelling a defense stacker though.

Thanks for the reply, interesting.
In what way is Pistol Aiming (from Pistoleer Skills max of +16) & General ranged Aiming (Marksman max of +30) different. Do they stack together and give a total of +46 or are they worked seperately?
Probably to much to work out given that they are rarely used but I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to what differentiates them.
Reason for the interest is I have an old +25 Pistol Aiming tape that I would consider using but only if it was going to prove worthwhile.

SImple answers: NO, NO , and well.. NO.
When you are shooting a 1 shot a second you are not going to want to use aim.. trust me
