Thread: 50+ vs knockdown = 50% vs knockdown ???

50+ vs knockdown


30+ vs blind


15+ vs dizzy


and so on does it mean this ????


50% vs knockdown


30% vs blind


15% vs dizzy


if not what does 50+ vs something really mean in %

I've interpreted them that way, but I'm not sure if its right...


I thought some were % and other just a mod, but then dodge got up to 105, so that's not a percent . Not sure on the others though...

And the sad fact is that the Devs probablyhaven't toldus because they aren't exactly sure.

Seriously, I've got a character who has the defenses from Pistoleer and TKA, AND I wear bioengineered clothes with +15Defense AgainstStun, with takes me up to about +90 or so (or something huge).


I still get Stunned ALL THE TIME.


Same for KD - I have +70. Believe me, I still get KDed.


If defenses are doing anything, I truly pity anyone without defenses, because I don't see a noticeable difference between now and the dark days when I had zero defenses, and I still get Stunned/Blinded/KDed/etc every few hits from any given opponent (I mostly PVE)


Dodge, however, works. I'd take +50 Dodge over +50 Defense Against KD any day of the week.

They are working eletric...hehe as crappy as they might seem when you have them now....You will really see how much they come in handy when you give them up ....


Of course it might just be placebo(sp?)....When I had to drop pistoleer for MBH again (holocron) I went back and saw what it was like having *no* defenses, I forgot how much it just sucked.


What I would really like is the post from TH on combat......Guess well get that after everything changes

Do a quick test with a friend.... have a TKA use KD attacks on you while you equip a pistol other than a DX2.... then do the same with a DX2 equipped.


I found that my Def Vs. X dont work withou my DX2 equipped. Let me know what you find with the KD.

no, dosnt work like that.


I got 100 kd defence and i get knocked down sometimes(rarley tho).

Hey Electricnomad!


When does dodge get good? I just dumped a bunch of surplus CH skills and bought up the first three boxes of the dodge column (+60 dodge I believe). In the couple of test fights I did I didn't see a noticeable improvement. (Going through the spam I seemed to dodge about twice per firefight). These were against Borvos and Maulers on Naboo.



I had heard stories of people basically unable to run due to their dodge constantly kicking in -- that hasn't been my experience. Any idea what level of dodge is needed for it to be the big effect people are talking about?

well i read them but i still dont see it clear


i would like toknow if 120+ knockdown def is better then 100
or if 100 is cap or something
