Thread: Is Damage Mitigation working?
diffrence in the damage I take from ranged weapons. I had a carbineer buddy
of mine shoot me a couple times with a laser carbine, I then had him shoot my
other character who has no damage mitigation at all. On both character he was
still hitting for around the exact same damage, both in combat window and in
numbers that float off your head.
From what I understand damage mitigation is supposed to lower the damage
range of your weapon, which should of made me take alot less damage than
my alt with no ranged mitigation at all.
Anyone else noticing this problem?

Lol ya ran a test with a friend master rifleman/tka and defense lines of fencer. As a master pistoleer I was hitting him one hit every 8 or so if he was moving around. Ridiculous really.
And you guys forget that carabine/rifles have armor piercing which increase damage too... My friend hit me for 680 with a full composite on and ranged mitigation 3.... Thanks to armor rating 3 ( +75% dmg and totally negate composite chance to trigger).
Anyway, classes are so out of balance in this game its sad. Pistoleer is up there with pikeman in the weakest combat profession in pvp.
Yah with TKA/fencer defense line+rifle its *extreamly* hard to hit somone, however, the power upI was using, which does help is...
+33% min, and -16% action cost....
This power up will increase your max damage as well with mit 3, as well as take the edge of spamming specials....
Dmg slixed DX2 135-214...with the lower end power-up, the min damage is 180ish-214, wich cuts a big chunk off how much mit will help them....
