I stopped playing in September because of school, but now I'm back in the game. My problem is this:

I am using padded armor, which isn't the best for a pistoleer or anyone really. I'm saving for a vehicle now, but I can't seem to make money fast enough. At the rate I'm going, it's going to take forever. How can I make some decent money so I can get myself a vehicle and buy a decent set of armor?

um. I'm assuming you're a pistoleer cuz you posted here.. so do missions?

Level 32 Piket missions on Dantooine pay about 9k per mission, and you do not have to group in order to pull them off them the terminal or complete the mission. Just single pull the Pikets -- get inside 64m, prone, stack the two health bleeds, get up and out 90m or so, and pretty soon the bleeding Piket will come after you, leaving his buddies behind.

There are plenty of 9k missions involving humanoid NPCs available on Dantooine and Lok, too, and experienced players can do those alot faster than animals since there is only the initial spawn to kill, but since NPCs use powerful special attacks now you probably don't want those since you say that your armor is currently lacking.

Forgot one thing, you'll need a AP1 Energy damage weapon to do Pikets as a Pistoleer -- since you haven't played in awhile you might not know that the Republic Blaster now works and is the best pistol for those missions, although if you be strapped for cash you might dig up an SR Combat from somewhere.

Go to your server board and making a post to offer to rent your lots out to someone. Don't get scammed though, they'll be making about 100-200k off of the resources they mine, so charge about 10k per lot.

Or, follow the other tatics people above said. My suggestion is just for the fact that you probably don't play often.
