well i masterd pistoler to day took me 4 days from novice to master
and i say i like pistoler its a good saport profesion not bad at all i like it and i enjoyed lvling threw it
heck i can kill 6 stormtropers all at once only useing pistoler and no bufs or armorfast and eficently some thing that as a commndo was alitel harder and longer to do and you had to have armor
dx2 equipped and i was away with stopping shot, used fan shot a little but it aggroed too many at one time, started to bleed alot heh.........im only master pistoleer right now too cos of the holos telling me to do ID and dam musician.
but me vs a tuskan warlord/chief im kneeling in front of him and he cant hit me for **edit**, im just tumbling out the way and massacreing him.
ahhhh gota love master pistoleer, wouldnt drop it for anything.

Yes! That's one thing everyone forgets about master pistoleer.....great defense.....we don't get hit nearly as much as commando's and BH's......pick up some brawler and the only profession better than us defensively is TKA's.....gotta love the sidestep dodge and pistolwhip immediately......just looks so cool...........
hmm. Maybe im doing something wrong?? How do u master pistoleer in 4 days? Do u play non-stop?
Or is there a great tactic i dont know of?

maybe ur just not goin after higher end mob. if u get buffed and go on dath, giant baz nitchs 2 missions at a time and u should lvl up in no time.......ive written alot more documented ways a few times so just do a seach.
dot forget to kill everything in sight to and from ur missions

non-sop play would be my guess...
plus, if he was like me, he had a ton of Combat XP banked from Commando...
I didn't bank my Combat XP while I was a commando (Flame 4) though, I just stuck it all into the Stances tree, which was the first Pistoleer tree I had filled...then I dropped Commando and started picking up Pistoleer...went with the Marksman tree first, since I was already a Smuggler I needed the accuracy bonuses more than the specials. Then I alternated leveling the 2 remaining trees...
I'm now 3/4/3/4 Pistoleer...and if I can ever get time to play for any length of time again, I should make Master in a couple of hours...
Yes, we do make an excellent support profession. But who wants to be a support profession?
It kinda irritates me a little that I had to pick up smuggler just to be good with a pistol.
In closing, I'm glad you enjoyed leveling the profession.
