Thread: Pistoleer/Smuggler/TKA or Pistoleer/Smuggler/Fencer
Ok guys what do you reckon would be better for pvp, Pistoleer/Smuggler/TKA or Pistoleer/Smuggler/Fencer.
I knowFencer Doge does not stack with Pistoleer Doge, but I heard that as a Master Fencer you get more defencesvs KD and such,compared to a Master TKA.
Keep in mind it isnot absolutely certain that the fencer/pistoleer dodge is not stacking. Upper level mobs have way more accraacy now, and this may have been misinterprited as the dodge stack not working.
Fencer. The dodge still stacks and CoB is great. Not to mention you have 4 health bleeds in your possession. I'm a mfencer/tkm/working on pistoleer. I like being a fencer much better than a tka. Powerboost and dizzy+kd in one move is the best thing about tka, but neither is necessary.
Thanks guys but I think im going to go TKA simply because I will have more points left over, and I will put those points into Medic, When I master TKA I dont think Im really going to use itaccept when people are real close to me. Anyone got any tips for me in pvpas a Pistoleer/Smuggler/TKA, yesterday I dueled a Novice BH and won I was quite impressed but then again she was a Novice and didnt have Torso Shot or Fire KD.

I had a Pistoleer/Smuggler/TKM template. With a good set of buffs I was nearly unstoppable. I never lost a duel to a ranged ormeleeplayer characterwith that template. When I get bored with bounty hunter I will most likely return to that character template.
Fencer just doesn't deal out enough damage IMO.
I've been a TKM/Master Pistol, but currently I'm a master fencer/master pistoleer and I like at a lot. Dodge is still stacking and the CoB is amazing. I added 4/0/0/4 TKA into my template, and I barely get hit with 140ish ranged defense and 180 melee defense. As a fencer I deal out plenty of damage, around 400-500+ damage in PvP with scatterhit2. Plus fencers get the stun baton, which composite (unless its stun layered) and most mobs don't have protection against. And stacking 4 health bleeds rocks
PistolDoge and Fencer Dogedoes not stack any more does it I have heard from numerous posts saying that Doge does not stack.

No its not. It is displayed in your character screen as edited (client side), but it is no longer counted in the actual calculation (server side), so the effects are gone. This is just like BE enhanced clothes which you technically can stack up to +150 bonuses etc, while they still only have a +25 max effect.

That's good to hear, because that's what I'll be doing when I'm done chasing holos.
However, I have a PA-mate who was raving about how awesome Fencer was because the bleeds were fantastic. And having stun damage from a stun baton is always a good thing for slicing through composite armor.
I am personally going a combo of both.
Currently I am a Master Pistoleer / Rogue and when dueling people straight one on one (no buffs, etc) I win.
Reason for TKM, is because it interests me.
Reason for some fencer is because of the health bleeds and also the added Defense vs X (where x is KD, dizzy, etc)
