Thread: Did today's patch nerf disarming shot?

While hunting today I noticed that disarmshot2 was taking a very long time to destroy lairs. I checked the damage it was doing and realized it was not doing double damage.
I tested disarmshot1 and got the same results.
Anybody confirm?

If you're looking in the logs for the damage then you're looking in the wrong place to find out how much damage those shots are doing, take those numbers you see in your combat log and roughly multiply them by 2, that's how much damage you're doing to lairs with the disarming shots. There wasn't a nerf that I know of...

No, I was looking at the damage numbers that float above the target. Prior to today's patch they were always double what was shown in the combat spam when I used disarmshot on a lair. Today the two numbers were always the same.

I noticed it yesterday too - before yesterdaydisarming 2 was giving me 1600 or so per hit on a basewith my (cruddy) DX2and now it gives me 6-700. Disarming 1 is similarly affected. I can't see anything in the patch notes about it.
I'm pretty sure the damage figure above the base as I hit it is the same as the figure in the combat window as well nowwith both the disarming shots.

Same here. The damage tick above the lair actually matched the combat spam in the log. I guess they felt Pistoleer is too strong against a lair and TKAs barely scratch it?
Next they'll take away the only 2 working specials we have.
