Thread: so obviously with the BH pre req thingy....

everyone is planning a new template, mostly
nov commando
master pistoleer
BH pistol tree
dirty fighting in smuggler
alright, i can respect how intelligent everyone is (/slap those who are not) but i think this is a bad move by the devs....
no dont take ANY offence to this, but this will over power pistoleers (let me explain)
i realize that we will still be nowhere as good as rifleman/CMs but when the combat balence sets in they will be saying "well we obviously cant let pistoleers get away with DE-10s/eyeshot and feighndeath"
so looks like were FONS (not fonzie, flavor of next season)
i hope SOE dosent screw this one up, the last thing we need is to go from "man we need a lil help, but we can wait" to CMs shouting "AMG T3H NERFAGE ON PISTOLS!" on our clean forums

you wouldnt do that to someone in your own guild ( i joined shadows storm tonight) would you?

Having BH/Carbineer/Pistoleer intertwined is the fatal flaw of all 3 professions. Pure BHs, Pistoleers or Carbineers will be necessarily weak to counter the hybrid combos. Especially now that BH takes up fewer skillpoints. You have all just become junior bounty hunters...Enjoy.

if not any proffesion had any pistol skills ad all...
pistoleer by it self would be much more powerfull

If what you are saying is true, maybe this is the temporary fix that we have been waiting for. Personally i am going to pick up the exact template you suggested, ill have it friday night. Maybe just maybe, in trying to help out the BHs, the devs kinda threw us a bone too by allowing us to get some real power under our belts. I know they are most likly feeling alot of pressure to get JTL out, and fix the bugs, and fix the jedi system, and fix all the other problems in the game, so one fix that benifits multiple proffesions is the easiest way to go.
Im sure when the CB hits, BH will be changed up alot, making the changes coming tomorrow either void or pointless. But by that time will we care, i hope not. Not if they fix us up nice. Im happy for this change, i think that i will enjoy picking up DF, and i know that anyone who chose DF will love BH pistols.

You're right, it is a bad move. It's only gonna lead to more nerfs.
