It amazes me that a year has passed already. In my year of experierence with the profession I couldn't be happier with the changes ofthe game andthe profession. Most of the changes were needed and after a year of expereincing them, I can see they are balancing the game. Of course there can always be room for improvement, and fine tuningour specials would be fantastic. But overall, I enjoyPvEing and PvPing as a master pistoleer (and I never gave it up, I always have and always willbe a master pistoleer). I love the animations, I love how nothing can ever get closer than 30 m to me. I love almost all the specials (I admit I never use disarm shot 2 or double tap). All our specials work (some may not have incorrect descriptions, or may be considered redundant), and the huge variety in weapon damage type is fantastic. It is amazing that we are one of the few professions that actually does not need buffs to play effectively (well at least I do not when I have the correct HAM distribution).
So after a year, I would like to wish all the vets of the profession (that have been here since the beginning like I) and all the new pistoleers and pistoleers to be a very happy 1 year aniversary and hope everyone can find a profession as rewarding to them as pistoleer has been to me.

Heh, you're right, it is amazing and to tell the truth somewhat worrysome - the years seem to be getting shorter.I don't share that view of the profession, having recently mastered TKA to complete my tripple master template, I found that I was soloing things at 0-0-3-2 that I couldn't solo (and had more trouble in doing so)until Imastered pistoleer. I'm glad you can enjoy it in the state it's in; you'll certainly benefit more than mostfrom the combat balance, as in your eyes the profession will be (relatively) even better, where as to us it will merely be fixed. I must say I envy you for that.

A bit belated, but right back at you

Well, I disagree completely with the statement that "all our specials work", even with the qualifier that they don't work as described. On the other hand, I do like the profession too, even in the state it's in
I just dropped TKM from my master pistoleer / master smuggler / TKM build to get scout skills back, just because TK wasn'tinteresting for me. I wouldn't drop pistols, even though TKM's a more powerful profession. Gunslinging's just my thing, I suppose.
