just a suggestion, wouldnt it be nice for a pistoleer to duel weild? like 2 pistols at a time? lol just my 2 cents

iv been a master pistol for some time but i don't think i can wait another month..i thought some of these fixes were making it this month sure was pissed when i saw nothing changed..the devs continue to be slow fixing thigns that are important

Pistoleer needs it's bugs fixed immediately. We also need at least one ranged knockdown to compete with the carbineer's knockdowns. Knockdown defense is useless. The ratio of defending against knockdown should be more like one out of two knockdowns are successful. Pistoleer needs some attention and FAST.

The next thing that needs to be adressed is PVP plz Jagen..


Anyone who knows what there doing (Armor + shield gen) can reduce our damage to ... nothing.. and if they have buffs.. We are done for..


Soon as Carbineer dizzy is fixed they will be able to shoot away and downed targets.. Rifleman can hit mind.

Here are my thoughts, no one seems to have addressed these, or did incorrectly...


Master cert weapons should be for all classes, thats in the works from what i've seen, forget about this...


Knockdown from pistolwhip isn't long enough, by the time I start shooting they are back up again, remove delay timer completely from pistolwhip, give it a timer before pistolwhip can be used again, not affecting my combat timer, and ability to shoot opponent, they're down, I do nothing, they are back up and hit me, how nice, I wasted 200 action for nothing


We need more damage, even tho I am super quick, I miss, and my damage is for squat, Make it so Dual Pistols have ranged mods only, Don't in crease stat costs, or delay timer, just the range mod + at point blank, 0 at med and - at long.


Have it so all combat classes can view their weapons speed, and their "Actual speed" same for distance if Dual Wield comes to play, Also lower max speed to .5 for Pistoleers only.Were fast to cover up accuracyoverall as a Class,but I miss way too often for my speed to help, .5 would be excellent, as 1.2 pistol = 1, woop de doo I shoot for max and miss, I use a nice scout, its 30 for point blank/medium, even kneeling/prone I tend to miss way too often


Stopping when moving to do specials, Dodge is being addressed I see, but one thing that could offset us missing alot and for low damage is to not have the delay at all for any of our specials, We shoot fast as pistoleers, why must I stop in my tracks when walking, in order to shoot my target, if there were no delays to any of our specials, i.e when running or walking, that would make alot of us happier I think

I havent missed a shot with my pistol since I got master. But BH pistol helps alot.


Any word on duel weilding though? Everyone is talking about this, but have the devs ever said anything?

one more thing about the dx2 is that it takes 4(5 with schematic) identical power handles where the fwg5 and the scatter on take on so if maybe they would make the power handles stack they would be superior weapons or just drop the power handlers down to 1 like every other weapon. it is ridiculous that we pistoleers have to find 5 krayt tissues to get a good dx2 when the fwg5 t21 elite carbine launcher pistol and scatter only takes 1 tissue. either make the power handles stack or bring them down to one

Great Job!I have to agree with everything 100%. At first I thought it was me having these problems since I do not take the time to test. Thank you for taking the time to test things and post good worth while complaints on the forums. Could you do an examintation of the new fan shot?

This is an excellent breakdown of the pistoleer problems and what appear to be equally balancing and efficient suggestions for a fix... why won't they listen? Personally, I wish I'd read all of this before beginning the journey up the pistoleer tree, as it is I need Pistol Marksmanship 3 and 4, and that last tactics box to reach master, and this doesn't bode well for my chosen profession... at least we get cool titles, I'm running around as a "Gunslinger" I must say though, I have done pretty well with the Krayt FWG5's although I pay A LOT for them. My favorite is currently breaking down and I paid 250k for it (and can't seem to find any more even close to comparable). It was pre-sliced on a person's vendor 81-331 dmg 1.3 attack speed. I'm afraid of repair tools because I've destroyed several lower rated weapons of mine using even a 99.4% tool, is there any skill required? Everyone tells me no.


Perhaps SOE dev's simply do not want anyone to pick a profession and keep it, especially with all the recent news on holocron instructions to open your "force sensitive" slots... requiring you to master some totally irrelavent skill you didn't want to play when you originally chose a profession. Get your macros ready and dance while you go to work or sleep I guess...


Anyway, we pistoleers appreciate your efforts in determining and listing precisely all of our beefs (whether we even realized them or not). At least I do, keep us updated and pushing your points... someone, other than us, has to listen.

They should add dizzy to melee defense2 and keep kd,of course,and increase dmg

Totally agree with everything you've said, one thing about the DX2, yes, I believe it needs some considerable beefing up in the accuracy and the damage stakes, however, its not hard for a BH/Commando or anybody else who wants it just to take Novice Pistoleer, think the requirement for it needs to go up, maybe have Master of 2/4 skill trees or similar? Thus keeping those annoying dabblers away from it and giving us an advantage to dedicating to the profession.
