If it works out then I will stay. Pistol has been my secondary. Problem is the change in the game may cause so many others to leave it will not be worth my time and effort to stay. If the crafters go a lot of the new weapons will not be there for use to us. This is becoming to much EQ. Rumor is that some of the files are direct lifts, of course who knows. I am encouraging other to wait and see. So far I have had a very bad time in the testing. I think a lot of new players will not last long. You get tired of dying and veteran players will not be around to help.

If I want to play a game like this, I'll re-activate my sorry-A$$ WoW account,

was going to stay a pistoleer, but since every pistol in the game is either Energy or Kinetic, I don't know anymore. Have been one since launch. I like it still, but if I can't fight certain creatures/NPCs in game because of it, then I don't know if I can justify staying one.

Yes, you will enjoy aspects of the game that have been missing for a long time, (having to group up to hunt ... aka grind)however, this can be acomplished in a much better and easier way than re-vamping the entire game, including the non-combat professions. Starting with degrading uber buffs, armor, and DOT weapons. This is after all the root of the problems in SWG.

I will never leave Pistoleer or Smuggler either. I love them too much. But I am changing my template from TKM/MS/MP to MP/MS/Commando 0444, but only so I can wear Rebel Assualt armor.


Obviously you haen't played TC, because the armor in the new system is 90% decorative. There is very little if any protection from armor vs. creatures and mobs that are 2-3 levels higher than your current level, much less krayts, NS's, or any other very high level npc's. Plus with the CU, good luck on grinding Commando ... LMAO, to start a new profession is absolutely insane. You will be getting about a 1/8th to 1/3rd of the XP you are getting now. Oh yeah, and you will have no troubles finding a group I'm sure!

I think those who want a tough fight will love the CU. Only those who want to solo krayts will be upset. This ia MMORPG, you are supposed to be in groups not solo....


OK this is the kicker, try telling this to a crafter who is going to try and hire you so he can

1. place harvy's

2. pay maintenance and deposit power to said harvy's

3. retreive resources from said harvy's

all to make items that are going to be pretty much worthless to everyone.

The crafting process of SWG is very individualistic and is what makes this game, with the nerf they are getting, many crafters are leaving. Are you going to stop and escort my master AS alt to and from my harvy's on dathomir grouped up as 2 people? Both of us would probably end up at "the closest cloning center". If we make it to where we are going in one piece, you will just hang out and check out the scenery for like 30 minutes.? Maybe I will craft you a left bracer or something for your time.

Furthermore, I hope you have tons of credits, because armor will go for 3 times the selling amount it sells for now. IE. 900k for cheap crap armor.


Last but not least, I'll go ahead and get this off my chestplate.

To all those people who just started playing the game in the last couple of months, (you know who you are, the ones spamming starports for free credits...) hope you guys have fun, because the game is going sour, and will be losing a lot of veterans with multiple accounts, which means less money for you're CU upgrades and expansion packsfor future gameplay. If you check out some of the DEV forums, you will see that even the "smart noobs" are hating the CU. If you do your own education of it, I'm sure you will too.
