I just mastered a few days ago, but I've been taking my time on it for a couple months...Ihad plenty of time to learn what I was getting into and had time to switch to the flavor of the month, but I have hope that the devs will eventually fix this profession before space expansion. *cross fingers*. Of all the specials available to us, I'm finding myself using healthshot2 and point blank area 1 more than any pistoleer specials. In all honesty, I *was* using smuggler pistol specials more than pistoleer specials, but the devs broke the smuggler profession horribly. I still have my leg shot, though.

In most one-on-one ranged duels I can hold my own, but I learned in PVP(while defending our city from rebel terrorists)that we master gunfightersjust a notch above pikemen. Practically every shot I fired at this one guy ended up as a miss. Since the devs supposedly fixed the stacking imbalance, there is only one conclusion I can draw from that experience...pistoleers are imbalanced. You might argue that I didn't know what I was doing, but I tried every pistol in my arsenal (of around six weapons) at various ranges with various specials with little or no effect. It's demoralizing to see10 or more misses in a row while your HAM bars are getting hammered. I challenge all of the devs to play as pistoleers for a month to see what we have to go through. We can whine and beg and plead, but until the developers share the pain, they won't be sympathetic.
