Thread: Double Tap?
The only use for Double Tap is for HAM effeciency (more damage for the same HAM as KipUp shot) however it is naturally slower. It is a pretty sad shot in the today's combat world (Spam Wars: Galaxies), but with the upcoming changes that encourage using special attacks sparingly with auto-attack being the primary damage output, it may find its place again.
I was under the impression that Doubletap did 2x its normal damage to PvE lairs? I remember hearing that somewhere and it's hit as good as Stopping Shot on lairs in my own personal experience. Is that still the case or was it recently changed?

You're thinking Disarming Shot 1, which is good against lairs. That's about all it's good for, however.
Even then, a Novice TKA does better lair damage.
