*points to sticky topic about knockdown atop this forum. We wanted it changed too. Everyone agrees that knockdown is currently too powerful, and it's getting balanced down to where it should be. Being able to keep your opponent from acting for 5 seconds is powerful, but not an instant win like it is now.

Once we're unable to keep people from ever healing themselves, mind damage is going to be the way to go. Riflemen have to keep a distance, go prone, etc. Melee have to get in range to attack. Bounty Hunters can spam eye shot from anywhere. Should it be nerfed into oblivion? No, not at all. Should it have slightly lower damage, or even the blind effect removed? Definitely.

On the BH forum, we are in disarray right now. we still havent heard a response from the devs on our week one issues. so until we get some feedback on that, we cant exactly discuss were our profession next needs fixing. Our main concerns are still the ones that we put in the week one report. Do to the lack of feedback from the devs on that, we dont know if they are addressing any of those concerns or not. We didnt even get a form letter for our repsonse. we got 3 items, with no timetable or explanation of them at all. We dont know if the devs even care that 25% of the time our marks are unattackable. do they even know that we lose money doing most of your missions due to high travel costs? The LLC is getting a revamp soon. But that came about through the commandos. Is there any fix for the ridiculous failure rate of our droids? these are things we put in our week one report. so until we know whats happening with that, we dont have much we can talk about.

And that cheap stab on pistoleers has been used many times. I personaly didn't ask for twirly pistols, but is it wrong to ask for some ammount of flair to a class? When that was written, I don't believe there was even any master pistoleers out. Our correspondent took the most asked requests and put them in because he really didn't have much else to add since we were so young in our class.


Borderline trolling from a correspondent, tsk tsk. Regardless, I would rather have asked for twirly pistolsas my class correspondent than represent the by far largest collection of immature children in the game. I have confirmedevery last trollin the pistoleer forums to be a bounty hunter by going over their previous posts. You just reaffirmed my findings by your cheap, meaningless stab at our proffession. The sad thing is, I still feel bad for you. You should get your tag changed to Bounty Hunter Baby Sitter.

Currently, even eyshot is a real joke compared to a player with 3+ pets/faction pets that do PvE damage in PvP. Sorry, but getting hit by an unkillable ATST for 1Kat range is a TAD bit less balanaced than the 10 eyeshots it takes to put me down. I don't think any damage attacks should be balanced personally, until all the rest of the nonsense is fixed. Eyeshot is useless in PvP right now vs good opponents, knockdown still owns them all, any novice with an ATST and a brain can down a PC in 2 seconds. How can anything be overpowered in the face of pet madness and knockdowns?Please. And it will get worse. With pets remaining the same, and knockdown being removed, now you have no defense against Godizlla and the easily-exploitable-since-beta faction point super-novices.


How's that for fueling the fire?

The bad game design is by allowing classes to attack an unhealable pool and do more damage than classes attacking healable pools. I love the HAM concept, it is so much more interesting than your standard hitpoint/mana/endurance system. Unfortunatly, we have master rifleman firing off headshot3s evert 2 seconds with pre-nerf T21s and barely over novice bounty hunters eyeshotting someone every second with scatter pistols. The main problem is the speed cap system, the scatter pistol, and the damage modifier on eyeshot being so high. Of course, it is easier for SOE to just make the mind pool healable. If they do this, I would be very disapointed.

I totaly agree, pets should be doing 25% damage in PvP. I think AT-STs need to have their faction costput to 15-20k for every race, and only make them usable by very high ranking imperials. With the way AT-STs are now, the are the strongest mob in the game, and you don't even need to be a CH to use it. Iwould like to how long an AT-ST would last in the dark crystal hunteror the night sister cave.

Yes, and after we lose our ranged knockdown, guess who will be using underhanded shot and eyeshot? Eyeshot also negates any reason to be a medic in PvP. Eyeshot by it self isn't the issue, it is eyeshot with a scatter pistol. I am sure you know the stats on scatter pistols are far better than a DX2. Imagine using a DX2 at 1/3 the speed and 1/3 more damage and hitting the mind pool with it.
