Yeah i was kinda taken aback by that too. After coming to the forums i realized that MD2 just doesn't work so I just put MD1 back in the tool bar.

does this not have a knockdown component like pistol melee 1? it's not giving me a message of failing to knockdown and the target isn't getting knocked down.
if anyone knows, is this a known issue or is it intentional?

Man, and this whole time I thought it was just me doing something wrong. PMD1 works pretty well and I remember I was psyched to get PMD2, but after having it for a few weeks I put PMD1 back onto my toolbar.

PMD1 is a good attack. Too bad the KD doesn't last longer and stun, but hey, at least it works. Actually, PMD1 is the only attack that makes the DX2 Useful.

ok i just got this special thinking oh cool this is gonna kick ass. Is this a sick joke or what. i tested it out, went to a mob used nothing but 1 and 2 to compare. This is what i got
istol whip 3-500 damage and KD 50% of the time, ok 2 i got about 3-700 damage and it is called pistol smash. is this intended to do KD because not once did it work. i know this special is broken but is 2 only supposed to be damage, and if it is, why would we use it. the damage isnt that much different from 1 and 1 has a chance to KD. am i totally off base here or what.

When the game first came out Melee Defense 2was overpowered. I read one account of a Master Pistoleer who was able to keep a Krayt Dragon flattened foran entire fight while the rest of his group killed it without taking a scratch. It was over powered but then got over balanced and apparently hasn't been looked at since.

Yea, it just does damage. Been 'broke' for a long long time, there's really no point to using it.
