How'd you fair Ane? My De-10 converted to over 900 max dmg, but only 400 something dps... i'm kinda dissapointed in the dps. Seems a little unfair that de-10's arent where they should be, people are talking about fwg5's and republic blasters coming out with considerably higher dps

Here are my observations with the CU.

First of all, I picked up a non-Krayted (7500 credits) DL44 Metal before the CU, sliced it and stuck it in the bank. Today, I pulled it out, and it blows away my krayted and sliced DE-10s.

Here are the guns I'm keeping around:

DL44 XT (360-814 energy, 1.97 spd. Modified DPS 474.8)
DE-10 (krayted, speed sliced. 275-766 energy, 2.04 spd. Modified DPS 405.93)
SR Combat Pistol (261-575 energy, 1.97 spd. +27 Cold elemental damage. Modified DPS 358.72)
Republic Blaster (354-745 energy, 2.24 spd. +48 Acid elemental damage. Modified DPS 427.26)
FWG5 (375-812 kinetic, 2.21 spd. Modified DPS 426.78)

And that's it. These four guns (DE-10 is being kept out of sentimental value and stubborness) represent the only guns you will ever need as a pistoleer, without delving into the new weapons. If it weren't for elemental damage, it would be the DL44 XT and the FWG5 alone. No other guns are worth having.

Powerups: I had some crates of 33% max damage and whatever min damage powerups before the CU. These were changed to +28.34% damage, +18.99% speed high-powered barrels. Dropping one of these on my DE-10, DPS goes from 405.93 to 391.67. I haven't tried any other powerup types. I figure Powerups are completely useless now.

In case you're wondering, my CU template is Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler, Commando 4440, with no FS skills. Referenced DPS numbers are modified for me.

Off the top of my head after respecing to master pistoleer the republic was around 610 Modified DPS, and the FWG5 of Doom was around just under 500 Modified DPS. The DE-10 I don't remember too much but I know it was lower than the fwg5 or republic. I also got a nice Krayt DX2 also.




I remember back when that happened you going to update your website for post CU stuff now? And when are you going to have Alliance disruptors available?

The HUGE problem I see, which may be a bug, is that the guns I did not have powerups in before the CU hit are clearly underpowered next to other guns that I did have powerups in that are of very similar quality. I had two DE-10s with very very similar stats, and now one has a DPS of like 449 and the other has a DPS of like 390. Wound chance is different too. CLEARLY, the guns that had powerups when the CU hit are more powerful, as if the powerups are now bonded to those weapons.


This is a MAJOR problem. To add to my misery, I had an ADK in the now lower damage gun.


DEVs, please address this.

My Krayt DE 10 was a 180-428 damage with 3,6 speed


Now : 300-780...there's a pbm theDPS is better on a DX2 or a republic sliced only :/


All my DE 10 are now useless..

My best de-10 converted to something with max damage of 970 without powerup. My modified dps with her is 509. Pupped with powers that reduce speed had modified dps of 729 ,, not bad for a pistoleer


I blame myself for not having a dmg power up on the thing pre conversion guess that a 723 dmg power up de-10 pre CU would result in something with like 1100)


my other high damage de-10's converted to weapons with max dmg between 920 and 950. Guess i didn't had that much bad luck..


My best scatter is now advanced scatter with about 924 dmg . Modified dps is 543. With speed power ups ( that reduce speed) have about 749 dps, i preffer the de-10 for looks 20 more dmg per second isn't much of a diference


Still, the nice surprise was that My 2 non-sliced de-10 that i was saving for that very far away day when slicing becomes less random, now have 848 asnd 859 dmg. Even a mesly 20% dmg slice can put them over 1000 max dmg . A average slice (~26%) will send them to 1080 dmg. And a old top slice (32 or more ) makes them +1120 dmg.... now i have to wait untill slices are working better. Sliced normal weapons and had results going from 5% to 33%,,,,,


still they are far from useless....

Actually, slicing now sucks. Because your unsliced DE10s are already great guns, they will aytoimatically get a crap slice. It is in the game mechanics. Check the Smuggler forums. I paid a lot of a post CU DE10 and got a 0 % dmgslice. The CSR basically said , yes, working as intended.
