I just said "Those are fantastic" out loud after clicking those links, those are exactly what I've been trying to get made with my shards but I cant find a weaponsmith on my server with pre-cu components to bring the SAC down.

I'm a 12pt WS on Chimaera IGN:JPZ. I used to work with JB, but my first toon Jiperz is and always has been a pistol freak hehe. In fact I was driven into WS for the need to make good pistols. I think I can make your high DAM low SAC gorax FWG5 alhough the featherweight version is better.Plus I might have a few pre-cu barrels somewhere. Definately got the pre-cu scopes. Should be in game tonight if you are interested.

I managed to get our guild WS to ake a FWG5 with the following stats (unpupped/ unsliced)

dam 330-840 (not the highest I know)
speed 2.01
SAC 65

he used gorax shards and some pre Curb stuff I think to get the SAC down to this..any thoughts? - worth an ADK if its going to be hard to get the SAC down to this with post CURB stuff?

Thats a nice gun, were the shards around 50-60 or so? You've hit the minimum possible SAC for crafted pistols there too. Worthy of an ADK indeed.

tbh, I dont know what the shards were (ill ask him when I see him next) - he made it for me for free as I have been feeding him krayt tissues for the past six months with the Doc/Swords alt (pre-curb obviously )

Ive got to say im pretty pleased with the gun. I guess I could have got more damage, but in terms of SAC, im getting more damage per point of SAC used on this gun than on a 950dam/ 80 SAC weapon. NO idea if this actually is important, but hey, its better than nothing .

whats your view on something like this:

374-964 AS 2.09 SAC 80 +15 pistol acc (Gorax FWG5 - 5mil credits)

368-948 AS 2 SAC 80 (high cap Scatter - 2.5mil credits)

Both have Accbonus of 17

I don't understand the huge cost difference? does +15 pistol acc really make it worht double the price?

I have a very similar FWG5, in fact I had three made like that one. The +15 accuracy is nic becase it negates the penalty of reinforced stock powerups.

with this in mind, do you think its worth the extra 2.5mil price tag?

I don't know about prices,my guild and I loot all the tissues and shards for our own guns and I give the weaponsmith some cash for his time and resources.

So thats 905 Max damage, 84 SAC and 2.08 speed un powered up?

My Gorax Fetherweights have more damage, less SAC and about the same speed.

If anyone out there wants guns like these, get yourself into the desert in endor and fly about doing /tar gorax.

They die easily enough as long as you kiteand eventually you can get some +150 tissues to make some Featherweight FWG5's with. Bring some friends that want nice guns too as you only need one shard for one FWG5 and they drop in batches.

If you all fly about you can call each other when you find one to gank it, remember that you can target them and type /way to get the waypoint of where it is standing and then come back with it if you sight multiple Gorax.
