I am best wiv crayon.
Anyway, it's home time for me, I'm off out to get drunk with my wife and maybe clubbing after.
It's been a pleasure as always.

If I was on the moon and fired my DL44 at the earth, how big would the crater be when it hit?
Uthyr? Any calculations for this one?
Okay, now you've got me wanting to do some experiments... Actually, I'm betting that almost all the energy of the blast would be swallowed up by the Earth's atmosphere. Then there's the inverse-square law--the energy would be so diffuse by the time it hit the earth that all you would see (if you were standing in the exact spot where the few remaining photons hit) would be a flash of light. I will attempt to test this in-game tomorrow.
Here's another one for you... if you got slain on the Earth's moon (let's say your air-supplied comp helmet got smashed and you could no longer breathe) and got rez'd by a doc, would you immediately die again in the vacuum?

Or, on the more philosophical side of things, If a toon was Pistol Whipped on the Moon and there was no one around to hear it, would it still makea sound?

Actually it wouldn't make a sound even if there was somebody around to hear it, because there is no sound in a vacuum.

The Moon has zero atmosphere? I thought the atmosphere was just REALLY thin...

Yeah, the Earth's moon has zero atmosphere. It's a complete vacuum. Presumably because it has insufficient gravity to hold it down.
