That's my line of thinking too. I'd like to hear the stats ofresources used to make the gun and the stats of the components too, as both a pistoleer and weaponsmith. I would assume that this piece of garbage was fully experimented on damage/speed. Can we get confirmation from the weaponsmith who made this please?

But it doesn't look good. There are quite a few things that the weaponsmith isn't going to have much influence over: energy damage, AP0, and horrible accuracy.


The last thing we need isanother AP0, energy pistol. And this one would make a better doorstop than weapon.

Dude. Why are so many pistols +0 at 64 meters and -something at 0 meters? That's absurd. FIX IT!


(and for god's sake that thing needs armor piercing)

Who cares what the resource quality was, we don't need another energy damage gun. The stats would have to be hundreds and hundreds higher on this gun for it to be worth while. This will be just another useless, laughable weapon for us to choose from.

There's a grammatical error in the description too. It should be "Its blue bolts are common sights to their enemies" rather than "It's...."

Looks cool, too bad it sucks...Instead of giving us more useless weaponry, why don't they just let us use Scatter Pistols???

You're just proving my point that much more. This is worthless devs. Even if this was done with not so great resources and not a master WS, it should be better then this, if it's meant to be. Now the Geno sonic blaster is worthy of a new weapon, but not this pos.

Then Im no will bother buying it. With the factors of it being hard to get and limited use schem, and WS using resources to make it, the price they have to charge just to come even is more then we will want to pay for something that looks cool.


Randonb, can you maybe check with the devs, being the Coor and all, and see if this is intended as is? Or is there room for improvement while its on TC?

Ok, it's on TC and they can play with the stats but .... how does a new pistol with 0 AP and horrific range mods ever make it further than a discussion between 2 people at SOE who aren't on extremely potent hallucinogens?

the gun is using 'default' stats: its not specifically set up yet.


in other words, the final version will probably be a lot different.

Listen to BZebub, the new swordsman weapon has the same stats as the Scythe. These are just defualt stats that will probably be tweaked whens it released.

Well, that's a relief. Without any AP at all the gun would be useless (unless it was stun, but we have one of those already)
