I have BH pistols 4 and with Pistoleer 0 0 3 3 and no speed tapes, I speed cap stoppingshot. I like it quite a bit. I don't think it's 100% random either. It does hit random pools, but I believe there's an affinity towards the health pool. Perhaps 50% Health, 35% action, and 15% mind. I seems to hithealth at least 1/2 the time. If you stack both health bleeds,torsoshot (BH fire DoT), then spam stopping shot, the health will go down quite rapidly. I've also experimented with using pistoldefense 1 or 2 for a KD,then spam my DoT macro. I can typically get one torso and one healthshot2 in while they are still down, thus increasing those two DoTs. I cant' wait until I make master and get a DE-10, then I hope to really lett'er rip.

don't be so hostile, i was just merely stating that stopping shot ONLY has rare uses and for most people, you're better off with healthshot or fanshot

well just to clarify, rifleman do need master marksman and/or some speed tapes to actually cap their speed
with only 74 speed, you will have a higher dps with stoppingshot with a 1.1 speed weapon...... i have a couple of them, but one of them is a scout blaster, and one of them is a scatter lol
and it's all good, it's really hard to tell tone in posts... i probably read your post wrong the first time because i just read it again and didn't see it lol

Carbineers do need to take BH Carbines to be effective in PvP, definetely.

Incidentally, with a +74 speed mod, Stopping Shot has a delay equal to the weapon's base speed. Last Ditch is only slightly slower, I believe. So with a 1.1 or a 1.2 weapon, Stopping Shot is still pretty fast. *shrug*

I personally hope Pistoleers never get KD-Dizzy. I want to see KD-Dizzy removed as being the uber, ultra-1337, combo in this game. I want to see Pistoleers be invincible against KD-Dizzy! LOL

Try using PMD then Stopping Shot. I use this all of the time in PvE if the creature/npc can be knocked down. It delivers some serious damage. I can get it too work sometimes in PvP and boy are those people pissed.

From personal experience, I find when I use stopping shot after PMD, that the MOB just loves to dodge or block the stopping shot. I swear, I miss more shots standing overprone targets with a high point blank accuracy gonethan I do on moving targets while I'm running with the same gun. Prolly just bad luck though.
