Thread: GET YOUR Pistoleer PVP TEMPLATE HERE
I'm going for MPistoleer/MSmuggler (just for the better slices.) I was going to add fencer until they decided that defense stacking will be removed.
I nowhere saw anyone using medic, I doubt you can survive in anything but 1on1 pvp without it, but then I did not pvp for months. Has it become obsolete with everyone running around buffed in pvp?
Also I doubt the complete combat balance will happen in the next patch, more likely it will take another 3 or 4 months.

Tangle Pistol might not be as good as a jawa but its better than nothing.
Pistoleers also get a ton more defences then carbineer too [+40 melee defence]
Pistoleers 2 specials at the master box are broken? boohoo cry me a river, carbineer doesnt even get a special at master?
Pistoleers have broken specials such as MeleeDefence2?
Body Shot 3 is pretty much the same as Body Shot 2 and uses more HAM, and MTPS don't work as intended
Boohoo cry me a river, the devs fixed the one decent reason to go carbineer and fixed chargeshot1 by adding a timer to it, they even added a timer to chargeshot2 which is a broken area knockdown but at the same time forgot to fix it!

Only saw one person mention it, but Im going for Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler and Master TKA. Smuggler is a must for me, as I want the faction perks and faction brokering ability. Also, the ranged kd and ranged delay are a potentially deadly combo when used with other specials, especially the TK ones.
Smuggler forces you up the pistol tree leading to pistoleer, giving you various specials to use against unbuffed non-medics. I like body shot 3 spamming, and usually incap players before they get up from the kd/delay. Of course if they are buffed or medics, forget the health/action pools completely. Thats where a mind hit attack is manditory. BH gives it to you, and so so rifle. But so does TKA, and you can master all three profs. Against a buffed medic (like a CM/Rifleman) you need to kd/delay right away, burst run to TK distance, then KD/Dizzy and head hit into oblivion.
Anyway you slice it you have offensive attacks for any PvP situation. You can heal with meditate (which is rediculous but handy imho) and can fight as a tank or from afar.
Give it a shot sometime...

if for money, smugg is better. but if for pvp, only keep dirty 4 and grab some fencer with your tka.

More of an offensive template, but the defenses arent too shabby either. They just announced they are nerfing warcry, so melee should be even easier to kite. They also announced the defense stacking nerf...they are only implementing a cap, so this might be a very good template.

you could also grab the TKA meditation line with that...really helps for rifle special spammage.

I say Brawler until defense stacking is nerfed, then grab the medic. Intimidate does wonders against stackers, and TEF warcry seems to be the new rage on my server.
