Thread: Made a DE-10
Maybe someday we can get a gun that isn't just a re-skin on a gun we already have. Like the Goenosian Tangle Blaster, now we add in the Republic DE-10.
We may be missing out on my server but any unenhanced DX2 that is around 200 max damage is considered a darn good weapon. This gun does have a fairly tight damage range and as someone pointed out, that is better for consistency although I was thinking a bit more towards damage mitigation.
This looks like a pretty good gun to me except for the speed. If it is going to be that slow, I believe it should pack a bigger punch. I would like the idea of a hand cannon that is a bit slow on the trigger. If you saw the pic of Flynn firing this thing, it is indeed a hand cannon. Looks bigger than the SR Combat.

'Normal' depends on your server's resources.
Your 'normal' DX2 would be considered sub-par on Chimaera.
I'm willing to bet the resources aren't this different: "my dx2 is 166-295 2.2 speed"........
I play on 3 servers, and the DX2's are exactly the same. All Master Weaponsmiths will find the top resources, which are easy to locate (too easy in my opinion). Point being; a point here and there? Sure. 30 points here and there? I highly doubt it.

I own the weapon StGabriel made, it does not currently have a cert but my 0,0,3,1 pistoleer gets the "you lack the skills" message but my Master Pistoleer can use the gun with no reduction in damage. I plan on getting it sliced later today when our master smuggler logs in and try it out. It would have really been nice to have it be another type of damage or an AP2 weapon though.

The listing is Energy damage, although this may change, so it should need a blaster powerhandler.

i don't see how they could POSSIBLY make point blank accuracy worse than ideal accuracy.
i definetly see this gun as a short range(48m?) cold damage, AP2, that is very slow and has decent accuracy. its a strong pistol, but its certainly not the bug fixes pistoleers are looking for.
