Thread: Alright, how do I get 900k xp in one buff?

If you're not too worried about earning cash, take time to get two level99 missions in the same direction and close to each other, clear the lair then go to the next mission to do the same. After that return to the first and it should have respawned. I find the time taken to get missions wastes too much time and thats why I grind on Endor running between a few nearby lairs

Well i mastered Pistoleer with Bounty Hunter Pistols IV, in two buff sessions.. Thats got to be effective.. i tok missions, killed everything i found on my way to the missions and kept doing thins for 3 hours.. Got board, went around checking vendors doing some shopping! Then did the same next day and KABOOM... I was Master Pistoleer! Used a 200 max damage DX2 and used /eyeShot on everything to i got /fanShot and then ran around and spammed /fanShot for 3 hours i belive

I like to add something to my little guide there..

something simple, but yet so effective its ridilous...



dont... kill... the... lairs...


I can get 30k combat xp per run, just running back and forth between 2 mokk camps, giving 4,5k-5,5k combat xp each. I got 117 combat xp (including lightning cannon becouse I use llc to kill everything between the two lairs with llc) in 2,5h and still had buffs left...





Besides that, I also have an annoying sig that looks like part of the post.

Well I am able to cap out on 900k xp and get 90k combat xp two times in one buff. I just get buffed pop 2 brandys and head out to dathomir (north outpost) and i pull out my scatter pistol (if u have not done so i suggest getting 0/0/4/0 Bounty Hunter or master) then i set up a countinuse /StoppintShot macro. I am able to cap out at 900k in about 1hour and 30 minutes allowing me to go train at the village and come back for another session. Its tuff and a long grind but thats how i do it. I am thinking of dropping most of pistoleer 0/0/3/0 and picking up swordsmen 0/4/1/0 for the spin attack so that i can cap on pistol xp and swordsmen xp at the same time.. Let me know what u guyz think..

The summary post then is there are numerous methods to get there, it just takes some experimetnation on your part to find out what works for you.

was JUST wondering how you got 10-15 guys out of when lair when I only ever see 3 guys.

(improved jobmarket)

31k missions (diff 99) gives 3-5 people per camp.

33k missions (diff 218) gives 7-9 people per camp.


2x 7-9 = 14-18 people per 'run'.


Mokk/Janta grants 500 combat xp per victim, so each camp equals 3,5k-4,5k. When on range, spamming fanshot, I can kill more than half of the group before they even reach me, making it possible sometimes to finish a camp in 15 seconds...


Lets say it takes 1 minute to do a camp, 2 minutes to reach the other camp, and times this x3 (if you retreat three times a mission 'fails') it takes 12 minutes to get 21-27 combat xp. Add 4 minutes to get into the city to get two new missions after them failed and you 1h 2min - 1h 20min to cap pistol xp.


What probably brings this down, is that I use Dantoine as an example when I should have used Dathomir. Dathomir for the simple reason that I cannot cap pistol twice in a buff if I have to travel between Dantoine-Dathomir during the buff.

I dont know a creature that is easier to FanShot than Mokk/Janta but I will have a look in the Dathomir mission terminal today.



Also, when testing this theory, I noted that Mokk/Janta camps was refilled with new people, but the Thuna lair I also tested did not. This may have been a mistake, or it tells me that there's a difference how the game treats camps and lairs.

I tested Mutant Baz Nitch missions on Dathomir, and I am sad to say that the lairs are not reset when leaving the area.

In my theory only human camps are 'reset' when moving away from the area.

Im in a building solo-group at the moment, and i hope that humanoid camps exist on Dathomir.

I have given it two and a half hours, and unfortunately I must say that I havnt found a decent way to find good monsters up here.


Rancors give 5k, and considering the time it takes to take down one of them, even with the best pistol, and that FanShot works crap against them, make it not worth to mess with them. Besides, Disease as non-doctor is no fun.

I made my strategy even more effective by simply running (on foot) between two camps in the same direction, killing everything between. It takes 3 runs to the village and I can now cap my pistol xp twice ina buff, which includes the trip from a village on Dantoine to Aurilia village once.
