Yes, it was looted of a Giant Canyon Krayt. Had a good run of loot that night actually...

sooooo im assuming you dont hunt krayts with your pistol ?
does anyone? Im just now thinking about dropping my smuggler 0040 to finish out pistoleer (currently 0043)

Holy crap no, lol..I'm not even a pistoleer...well, that's not true, I have the pistoleers Techniques Tree (hence why I'm certified to use the pistol). I've seen some ppl use exceptionnal weapons to hunt krayt or high end critters, that's just a waste in my opinion. With repair being as borked as it is now, I don't wanna risk repairing a legendary weapon, lol..
Worst part about this drop is that we were 2 killing the dragon, both Rifflemen... so that guns staying in a house as decoration...

This is certainly one of the three best pistols I've ever seen drop. A guy in our city has one that is exceptional with a 600+ mind posion str with around 120% pot with close to 45k uses that tagged exceptional. And there was one other that I cant remember the stats on, but I would go to say this is something I'd kill to have. Awesome job.

Sooo, I'm a confused Bothan, pardon a few ignorant questions:
Was that dropped on live or TC?
Is it really "that bad" of damage range for a pistol? or just for a legendary pistol? (because like, my player-crafted DX2 is like 1/5th what that gun is)
Are player-crafted pistols even possibly comparable? Even close? If so, what wacky specialness does it need? (Krayt tissue, eye of nightsister, Darth Vader's personal attention?)

That was dropped on live.
It's a good damage range for a pistol, but nothing amazing. (My showroom de-10 is 727 max dam)
As for something similar...I'm guessing if you have some 100+ max damage krayt tissues you could get something close to the max damage of that gun, but nothing remotly close to the minimum damage.
