smuggler moves are handy.


panicshot+lowblow/pistolmelee1 = free shots for 10 seconds


i dont pvp much, but i've won most duels. cept against tkm, which is highly overpowered

poison takes 8 seconds to do damage with it's first tick. the second tick is 8 seconds after that.


Accuracy in your whining is key, exagerating about a class to bolster your argument makes your argument look weaker then it needs to look.

Some weeks ago, I would have argued that pistoleers true power was in their ability to work so well in many diffrent template combinations......They could stack well with so many classes to offer an all around well balanced template....


However, over the past 2-3 patches, Riflemen have emerged as this super class....With each passing patch they seem to just get stronger in comparison to everyone else.....Out of all the classes they have the *highest* over all defense in the game....This was probably done to help compensate for the 2.5 damage meelee increase, however, that too was taken out....


Not only are they the most defensive class, they hands down, apart from swordsmen are the highest DPS class in the game....Now why is Riflemen so good, dare I say over-powered....While swordsmen is what I considered just "balanced"...Because the swordsmen skill tree has an amazing amount of offense, but very very little defense...Where as the Riflemen are kings of both...Hands down.....


The other draw back was of course "Ham coming from the mind pool"...Well the new foods can nullify that down to normal draw rate levels, allowing Riflemen to fire with Impunity...(They could before too with the correct combination of food/Stat migration/spice)


The last draw back of the Rifle was its accuracy....But the devs ended that with the obscene accuracy bonuses that were given to some classes.....Each change consitently took away every weakness of the Riflemen....


But all that I can deal with....I will use /aim and /intimidate and stun to get by their+fencer+tka defense....I willl use high comp+the new foods+spice to defeat their head shots and outstanding damage....


However, the *one* thing that makes riflemen truly truly powerful is the Jawa Ion Rifle....Even if you have a stun layer in your armor, this thing can punch through it with AP1.....Even with the best made stun layers, which give 25-30% Protection, you can not defend against it.....On average a Riflemen will head shot in PvP once a second for 200 damage with a jawa....Even with the best armor possible, you will still take 140 damage per second....And even with +100 ranged defense, they will *almost* never miss because of the super-high accuracy the Rifle tree has.....Even with Dance/Vasarian brandy/muon you are looking at a 15-20 second survival time, against a class that can scarcley be hit if they spent their points correctly....There are very few classes who can take down an armored defense template within 15 seconds
